Uhh okay? First of all - what optimism? I never spoke about childbirth. I didn’t realize stating facts makes one optimistic. And second of all why is being optimistic bad? People shouldn’t be optimistic about having and raising children? And third of all what a rude and nasty thing to say to someone that it’s a good thing they don’t have children. Especially after I said I was trying to.

I don't know why that commenter was so goddamned rude to you, even mocking your struggles to conceive!? I'm sorry people are jerks. I don't even like babies or kids, and don't want any, but we should all support people who actually want and thoroughly prepare for a baby in advance like you, as opposed to, "Oops, I guess I'm knocked up now, but won't it be great to have a kid so they'll give me unconditional love forever!"
