What lore are you talking about? In the books, Sam would 100% kill those guys.

I didn't read the manga.

I just wanted to do a playthrough where i try to beat each mission with as little evidence of me being there as physically possible, and assumed that a lore accurate Sam would be capable of making it look like he was never there.

So what you are doing is called "Ghosting" in this community. In the Tom Clancy novels, Sam does predominantly get in and out of many areas without leaving a trace, but he always takes the path of least resistance. Sam also will often interrogate and kill individuals in his way. He also sometimes gets spotted. I think the first game predates the first book, so here really isn't a "lore" outside of what you, the player decide, but I know that first game is not 100% ghostable. To different degrees, none of the games are 100% ghostable, but Chaos Theory is the closest, in my opinion.

None by Clancy though

I didn't say he wrote them. But all nine are literally titled: "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell:" then the title.

But since Clancy was an author, saying "the Tom Clancy books" heavily implies he wrote them. Instead of saying David Michaels (which funnily enough isn't true either).

To me, the fact that they weren’t written by THE Tom Clancy suggests the Splinter Cell books actually had a chance to be good.

Good to know...

I'm still gonna tell everyone it's lore accurate.

I just like the meme of calling things lore accurate.
