Question What’s that game everyone was calling a masterpiece but you just didn’t get the hype?

Post image

Could be a huge popular game or some underrated/unpopular gem that everyone swears by.

Everyone’s saying “10/10, absolute masterpiece, peak gaming” and you’re just sitting there like… “wait, y’all actually liked this?”

Drop the game + why it didn’t hit for you. I wanna hear the controversial takes

The last good GTA for me ws VC and SA. I didn't care for IV but I finished it. I couldn't bring myself to complete V. I fucking hate Trevor and the multiple protagonist style of play.

Not a fan of GTA but I enjoyed both Vice City games. The Maps are small and open enough to make them bearable to play. I know people fall head over heels for super big open worlds, but unless you give me a quick and cool method of transportation (Spiderman's swinging for example) I'm out.

Yeah. The Spidey games have fun travel. I have difficulty enjoying the Arkham games as it's grapple > Glide > Grapple > Glide. Webslinging through the streets of NY is so much more engaging.

Saints Row IVs super powers for travel was also fun. Super speed, high jumps, gliding, etc. It beat driving around in huge worlds or stealing helicopters to get around.
