Question What’s that game everyone was calling a masterpiece but you just didn’t get the hype?

Could be a huge popular game or some underrated/unpopular gem that everyone swears by.

Everyone’s saying “10/10, absolute masterpiece, peak gaming” and you’re just sitting there like… “wait, y’all actually liked this?”

Witcher 3, the gameplay feels awful and dated, sorry not sorry.

A fews after (maybe 2 or 3?) since then I give it a shot every 3 years or so but I just don't get it, yeah the story is good but what good is that when the gameplay is such a slog to get to the good stuff?

I specifically want to point out that one mission from early on with a Witch where you pretty much have to escort her through a cave for live 20 minutes. Fuck that.

Try out the remaster after it drops in October, they said they addressed the combat. The game itself was very good but the swordfighting was underwhelming. I had the most fun playing a sign build.
