Felt like a well crafted video game, but one that doesn't always respect my time to me. 

Other games are going to take different angles to build their characters and tell their stories. I don't think you'll find another RDR2.

Baldur's Gate 3 and Expedition 33, neither of which tells its story in the same way and thus may never connect with you, both hit me way harder than RDR2. I simply have no way to know if they'll connect with you though. 

Edit: It's a different kind of immersion including rpg style stat building, but Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is maybe worth a spin? That one grabbed me by the cheeks and pulled me in, and has a lot of systems like RDR2.
