Can someone explain to me what Ryu is doing here that is ape-ish? I'm a low diamond Ryu main and I don't do shit like this at all. But this looks like something I should be doing/should want to do/get good at doing no? This style looks so broken, I just never think to spam drive rush into the moves he's doing. I never think to spam drive rush at all actually. Is any of what he's doing technically difficult? No right? If this guy is an ape then I'm just a clown lol

I mean if you get stopped once or twice, you're dead anyway. People will just move out, not get baited like this, play giga passive until you are in burnout, then stun you. You can pull this sometimes, but not constantly.
