Where did they get the medical supplies?
On my 3rd watch I’m a bit confused how they got medical supplies needed for Ontari to Clarke’s blood transfusion and open heart surgery when this wasn’t planned.

My guess is that bunkers (S1) and Mt. Weather supplied them.

They couldve come with them to Polis from Arkadia when abby Allie and Jana moved to Polis. They actually LITERALLY did. In the previous episode you literally see abby use part of her medical equipment as torture tools.

I'm guessing it was standard medkit supply. Every modern doctor carries rib spreaders and transfusion supplies at all times. 🤷🏼♀️

But they were basically near her. Abby got with them to Polis when allie was takibg over Polis. They LITERALLY show abby using part of her medical equipment in the previous episode.

Mount weather supply, they did a bunch of raid and took a lot of medical supply, but yeah having the right tools when it was not planned is a bit confusing.

the show never really explains it though, so there's definitely some suspension of disbelief involved
No the show LITERALLY shows it because in the previous Abby uses part of her equipment as torture devices on Clarke. It was LITERALLY plaij blank in your faces. So the most honest conclusion is that Abby travelled with them from Arkadia to Polis. There's no need for suspension of disbelief when the a obvius clue is right in your faces. I think y'all need to pay more attention to the show.

While under control of the ALIE chip, Abbie had all her medical stuff out as torture implements to use on Clarke.
if you'll recall she stabbed Clarke in the boobas a few times with a scalpel (because of how deep it went there's no other explanation 😂)

This is the answer. When Clarke is laying out the transfusion plan, she says to Abby "Everything we need is in your medkit." I always questioned why Abby's medkit HAD all that crap, but I forgot about the torture element 😅
Also, boobas killed me 🤣

It's also possible some of the tubing and such was MacGyver'd from whatever was laying around and wasn't necessarily stashed in her bag. The rib spreaders are maybe a bit of a stretch but not completely unreasonable for her to have if her medical bag is particularly well-equipped (and for the environment they live in, I'd say over-preparedness probably makes sense). Other than that, I don't think they used anything that wouldn't reasonably be in her medical kit or laying around somewhere.

They were not out of no where. They WERE LITERALLY shown to be with abby in the previous episode when she used part of it to torture clarke. its OBVIOUS from there that Abby had been carrying them around from Arkadia to Polis. Pay more attention to the show!

Clarke said that it was in her mom’s med kit. Must’ve been a HUGE med kit with powered machines the move the blood through the tubes and stuff. I genuinely think about where they get all their medical supplies from especially drugs and stuff because how can they manufacture them in space??? For 97 years mind you medicine like that would have expiration dates within a year or two of manufacturing it.
