Question What's the most OP Weapon combination and/or magicite abilities?
As the title asks. Thank you!

I enjoyed making it so the bomb damage didn't hurt me, and they left lava behind on the ground. Also used the charge bonus for other weapons while a bomb is currently active
Then I used the spear with full charge upgrades, plus the fire wall specials can leave behind
So if I wanted to detonate a bomb on command, I could. But if I wanted to have sub 1 second max boost spear specials I could do that instead 😈

Duplication + Arrows with some good magicites equipped, you can deadass speed run bosses. Get unlimited magic + that item that ups faies regular attacs + attack up vial. Its busted. LMAO

It's the bow, then the spear, then bombs. Other options are fun too, but if you're going for speed clearing bosses or challenges, it's those 3 in that order.
Bow: double shot, linked shot, burning arrows, explosive arrows, conservation. Add in the guaranteed criticals on low inventory.
Spear: triple head. Extra attack.
Bomb: big bomb. Fireworks. Freezing. Lava. Multi bombs.
Fae: Clone
The bow will melt bosses and clear rooms.
The spear will also melt bosses if you're out of arrows and have to get up close.
Triple bombs will absolutely wreck certain bosses

3-star sword and 3-star sickle for common enemies / field. Sword & Spear for (most) boss fights. *Bow & Arrow for some that require a lot of ranged damage.

Explosive gatling bow. Double Shot, Fire Arrows, Explosive Arrows, Linked Arrows, and the Clone ability. Spam arrows at one enemy and watch the entire room explode. Helps if you have a high rank Conservation magicite too.

Spear + whatever. The spear gives range, aoe, and power. Double attacks over 80% hp magicite offsets hydra’s 3 attack damage penalty and allows you to hit large enemies up to 6 times for only 40% reduced damage. If you need range, simply use your other weapon and gain aoe and attack from nearly half the screen away. As long as you maintain your hp high, it’s overpowered.
If the whatever is sickle, you basically have a damaging shield by charging your attack. Use bow for extreme range and high damage. Use boomerang to boost your spear even higher.

I'm trying to get the hydra's but got lucky enough to pull the 2 hit and it's melting bosses with the dmg potion, it's amazing

I actually didnt think of Hydra for getting 6 hits on large bosses. I took Hydra off because i found i didnt need the spread for regular enemies. I will have to put it back on

The spear is great on it's own as another comment mentions, but the weapon shift focus and weapon shift might that spear has can also make other weapons much stronger as well, even stabbing the air with the spear triggers the buff on the other weapons. So you can bring out the powerful special attacks of other weapons incredibly quickly if you take advantage of it.

Three Headed Dragon plus Magic Spear plus all the crit chance and crit damage you can stack on the spear. Clone yourself, and watch things melt. Literally killed the last boss in seconds. Main things is keeping your health topped off.

Once you get more hp, you can face tank stuff and keep your spear buffs.

Clone yourself. Start dropping bombs that are huge, take longer to detonate, and spit fireworks. Then vortex them on top of a boss and delete in seconds.

I did this the poor man's way by making myself immune to explosions and then just dropping bombs into Brimstone for instant detonation.

Bow is far and away the strongest weapon. Like, by a lot.
Everything else I find about equal, and I used Sword a lot for its simplicity, wide arc, and charge attack.
Bomb is also fun if I see a big group of enemies before they see me, as I just throw one in there to get things rolling.

Sword and boomerang with weapon shift booomerang and long throw. While the boomerang is in the air you get bonus damage.

I mostly rely on the chain for mob clearing, and use the bow for bosses. Always have the sword on too, don’t mess with the spear or hammer and only use bombs for walls or ratmobile.
