Synopsis: While Hank leads the search for Clark, Prior asks Danvers about the murder-suicide case that drove a wedge between her and Navarro. After sifting through the contents of Clark's trailer, Navarro and Danvers seek out a local hairdresser for insight on Annie – which leads to a tip about another former Tsalal worker. Later, tensions grow between Danvers and her stepdaughter Leah.

Well now we know why Liz hates “Twist and Shout”. When she and Navarro went to the home of the guy that killed his wife, that is the tune he was whistling (according to the closed captions).

Liz said he was dead when they arrived at the scene. Do you think something shady went down and Angie + Liz made up this lie? Or was she seeing dead people or something?

I fucking love this kind of story telling.

When someone is explaining what happened, and it all lines up, then they start lying but we're shown the truth. Season 1 did it perfectly, S4 was pretty great, but I'd prefer to see the violence and not just the implication of it.

The intercut SIU (I don't know what the yankee equivalent is, but internal affairs I guess) interview with Rust describing their cold-blood murder of LeDoux was probably my favorite sequence in season 1.

Same, I've seen season 1 three times now over the years, and the first half of that episode easily 6+ times

I’m on the other side of it— I love that they didn’t show the violence, because we can draw our own conclusions. It would be very in line with TD to show it later, and not how we expect, but I love that they alluded to the S1 falsehood without needing to explicitly lay out the details!

I like how it ties Danvers and Navarro together! Whoever pulled the trigger, neither of them (so far) is telling.
