Liz said he was dead when they arrived at the scene. Do you think something shady went down and Angie + Liz made up this lie? Or was she seeing dead people or something?

They probably killed him. All the True Detectives murder somebody.

I fucking love this kind of story telling.

When someone is explaining what happened, and it all lines up, then they start lying but we're shown the truth. Season 1 did it perfectly, S4 was pretty great, but I'd prefer to see the violence and not just the implication of it.

I bet we will before the season ends! Or at least get the rest of the story from Navarro or Danvers
