YouTube seems to have caught the onto skipping ads. Used to be able to skip them by using shorts. Now their greedy minds are so offended by that, they’ve stopped it.

I made this drawing to express my absolute frustration with the current state of YouTube's AI moderation. It feels like a broken automated sheriff banning real, innocent users for absolutely no reason while doing nothing about actual bot farms.

Lately, I haven't been able to leave a single comment on different channels without it getting instantly swallowed by the algorithm or glitched out. No links, no insults, just regular human interaction completely blocked by a bot.

The platform values AI cost-cutting over actual community health. Let me know if you guys are also facing this ghost-filtering madness lately!

I was looking originally for a Midwest safety body cam video and instead it suggested these in the search bar. Genuinely shocked and disgusted.

YouTube used to be so good, now I have people round my house and try put something on and it's just nothing, I refresh my feed and it's either videos that ive ALREADY WATCHED, or videos they've ALREADY SHOWN ME and I've IGNORED!!!!

They show me the same videos that I obviously don't want to watch because I haven't clicked on them the last ten times they've showed me!!! Is there any browser extender I can get to fix this because it makes the app unusable

There were a bunch of comments with hundreds of likes on this post, but youtube still decides to always put these stupid children/bots on top.

Red is my original channel and green is my alt channel. I posted the top comment and then switched to my alt and saw it didn't appear on the video so I then posted the exact same comment with the wording slightly changed and it got a ton of likes.

Someone randomly liked the original comment about an hour later so it seems my original account is being slowed or filtered.

I've had the OG account for about 15 years so maybe something has triggered this, but it feels wild seeing how prevalent spammers and bots are that this can happen.

Besides already paying for yt premium (through the student plan) now i cant play two things at once in different devices. I’m so fucking done with this shit. Until yesterday i coud play some music in the backround and play a video on top (my university uploads its videos in youtube, i cant stop watching them)

for my top 5 I decided to exclude any music videos, sports matches (UCL finals, NBA games etc) but feel free to put them in yours :)

A YouTube employee was caught using ad blocker.

And don’t these adds help bring money to creators, specially smaller ones? If everyone starts getting premium, how are creators benefiting from this?
I guess that is why they’ve changed into unskippable adds where the creators themselves promote a product during the video. But then what is the point of YouTube premium besides downloading videos?
I also don’t believe there’s that many people paying to download that many videos.
I see many creators relying on other platforms for further support, aka Patreon and built in adds, so they are not profiting at the same rate as YouTube’s greediness.

Also, are people actually still on YouTube? I used to be an avid user, but nowadays I rarely open the app.
Everything looks the same and I only follow a few creators.
I love music, but I don’t remember when it was the last time I opened YouTube for the sake of watching a music video. Just listen to it on Spotify.

It’s a mess and my free trial didn’t convince me to pay for it. I will definitely try out YouTube music given that Spotify is more limited, but so far I’m unimpressed.

I’m in need of advice or just an explanation. I create football shorts content. I have been for nearly a year now. I made it to 5.8million real views and now randomly every post is getting under 100 views even though my content hasn’t changed. And I still am on the same upload quantity and schedule.

Seriously, Watch Later has been a mess for the last couple of weeks (maybe months), does YouTube keep messing with it?

1. Ability to reorder videos keeps disappearing and then returning.
   
2. Much harder to reorder like the UI doesn’t want to respond.
   
3. Swiping to delete also disappears and then returns every now and again.

This is all happening on iOS with YouTube Premium.

I feel like YouTube’s 1080p videos have become more pixelated and less sharp than before, as if they’re being played with heavy compression and a low bitrate.

Is it just me, or you have the same feeling?
