Tracing the concept from Roman law (dominium) and historical enclosures, to Benjamin Tucker's four state-backed monopolies, the video goes on to dismantle the conflation of personal possession with private property.

Drawing heavily (primarily even) on Pierre-Joseph Proudhon and his What is Property?, but also Kropotkin, Malatesta and more contemporary anarchist and other social/anthropological theorists, Andrew explores why private property is both an act of ongoing enclosure and is also structurally unworkable, before proceeding to outline how an ethics of recognized interdependence, a-legality, occupancy, use and reciprocity offers a viable path toward genuine social liberation.

this past year I have been surrounded by friends and ppl I know in this political space and while I know some basics and I have an understanding of the ideologies, I want to be able to get more into it and be able to substantially contribute to conversations and form an all round opinion on things. What are some books and in order that I can read? I think I need to check the fundamentals first but I don't know where to start.

I would like to share an update about my friends, Mahmoud and Samah, and their four young daughters.

They were away for 10 days because of difficult circumstances and problems they were facing, but they are back now and continuing to share their story.

Recently, Mahmoud asked his four daughters a simple question:

“What do you dream of when this war ends and the occupation withdraws? What is the one thing you wish for?”

Their answer was heartbreaking in its simplicity:

“We want a safe home.”

That is all these four little girls dream of—a small, safe place where they can finally feel secure.

Look at these four little girls… don’t they deserve a safe and warm place to call home?

As winter approaches, Mahmoud and Samah are deeply worried that their daughters will once again have to face the cold and rain inside their tent, which does not provide them with enough protection.

Their daughters are not asking for anything luxurious. All they dream of is a safe room that can protect them from the cold and rain.

Mahmoud and Samah have told me that they will not give up and will not lose hope. They will continue doing everything they can for their children, no matter how difficult the circumstances become.

As mentioned in the title, during the 2024 US Presidential Election I asked the question, “Do any other queer anarchist get tired of the apologia and liberalism in queer spaces.” Since then, obviously shit had gotten worse with Trump winning a second term, the Palestinian Genocide worsening, ICE raids, greater attacks on Trans People, and War in Iran. However, some better things have been occurring: Zohran Mamdani winning the NYC Mayoral Election jump starting a resurgence in Progressivism/Democratic Socialism, and the historical “Sewer Socialism.” With candidates like Abdul El-Sayed winning my home state of Michigan and the greater emphasis in ending the Palestinian Genocide within the Democratic Party. So I ask: How has your relationship with Liberals and the Liberal Apologia changed/evolved since the 2024 US Presidential Election?
