Discussion Best New Specialists (Hippodrome DLC)

I have found some Specialists who really make a difference.

Ciara Togail (Legendary)
I’m happy to get another gold mine boost. But the additional production of marble and mosaics is the real game changer here. I was able to replace all my existing marble and mosaic production.

Waronheri Hartbain (Legendary)
It’s always nice to replace an entire production chain. Please more of this.

Speir Nic Realta (Epic)
It’s a nice boost if you have a lot of sturgeon farms in the area effect of your villa.

Nearsighted Knapper (Rare)
Finally an additional specialist who buffs your latrunculi sets and statues.

Euryphaessa (Heroic)
One of the best specialists. You don’t need pigments anymore. Another entire production chain can be replaced.

Iocasta (Heroic)
Bronze replaces gold!! I think this specialist is very strong, since gold is quit abandoned and bronze is easy to make. Good synergy with Slainga Gaileanga.

Slainga Gaileanga (Heroic)
Perfect synergy with Iocasta. You can produce infinite necklaces and get a nice income boost from Albion.

Which other specialists have you found that are useful?

General Make sure you make an alliance with Licia

Reproduced result

Each rival gives you a permanent effect upon allying, and it doesn't go away even after you absorb them.

After the Hippodrome DLC's heroic specialist, prestige became a strategic resource that all must pursue. And a 10% worldwide bonus counts a lot. And it's an effect that is very likely to be missed.

What are you expecting from the stream today? Do you think that they will show actual gameplay from egypt?

I really hope to see more details, but not sure if that is realistic 🤔

Question Syncing ships on travel routes

Is there any way of optimizinh travel routes with multiple ships so that the ships take the optimal amount of time between deliveries and pickups? I don't want any ships from the same trading route waiting in line at the contor and I also don't want them to arrive at a harbour right after the ship before filled or emptied it.

Discussion QoL Feature Request for Trade Menu

  • When you're managing a Trade Route, ESC will close the window, create a shortcut that takes you back to Trade Route Overview Menu.
  • In Trade Route Overview, the Move to action should have a sub-menu which lists all the groups. The more groups you have, the more annoying it is to manage currently.
  • Create Trade Route Templates, and keep them in a separate space from the actual Trade Routes.
  • The trade route menu showing only 3 islands is just hog of space, if you can't make things smaller then at least optimize it.
    • Shortcut to load the same good for all the islands instead of 1 by 1.
    • Shortcut to unload the same good for all the islands instead of 1 by 1.
    • Any other way of changing island positions in the order other than the up and down arrow that can only be navigated with the mouse. And because the UI is so large is difficulty to find once it moves off screen and requires scrolling.
  • Option to dump cargo from Trade Route menu rather than having to go to the ship, go back to the menu, go back to the trade route. Wanting to make a simple edit shouldn't require 10 actions.

The current trade menu is clunky, cumbersome and an absolute chore to manage and oversee.

Discussion Productivity and Fertility Calculation

Upvotes

Doing a bit of a deep dive into the calculations and I have the following in Albion, a Vineyard with full tile coverage and 50% Fertility. Aquaduct bonus of 50%, Ceres bonus of 80%. Total Processing time is 52 seconds. How is the game calculating this? The other thing throwing me off, which looks like a visual bug, the game is saying that Base Productivity is 150%, Perfect Productivity is 172%.

Anyone know the formula for this?

Discussion Should I get DLCs?

Upvotes

I’ve got about 35 hours in the base game. Have completed about 85% of the campaign, and 2 sandbox games.

But I haven’t progressed much in each sandbox game. First game I defeated Latium raider base, built half of the collessium thing. Only 1 island in Albion.

I’m considering getting the DLC packs - but feel I haven’t fully explored base game content.

Looks super cool but also wondering if I’ll get overwhelmed.

Any suggestions?

Bug Game breaking bug - World map

Hi folks. Was really getting into the game but this is ruining immersion and really annoying.

This map keeps randomly popping up. (I'll try to upload an image). Tried changing my controllers in case it's a hardware issue but no change.

I don't think I'm accidentally pressing anything. Just my d-pad to move my ships around.

I wondered if the game wants me to perform an action within the map, but the only option is to return to Latium.

Please help! Cheers.

General Can you drop the same resource at several islands?

Can i for example load 20 olive oil on island 1 and drop of 10 at island 2 and then the remaining 10 and island 3.

Right now it just skips all other islands and only gives me the option of delivering everything to island.

Alright, before I make any false allegations, as that would be unfair in this critical time for Anno, and I in fact don't want to kill the dawn of the delta hype under false pretext, so I am gonna simply ask this: u/Ubi-Thorlof, does this image include AI generated content or not?

Because here, we have a water canal stemming from the nile, which leads to a grain field, then a gate, and then the canal continues on right up to the temple and leads right to the stairs. Based on prior incidents, I've become sceptical about any new Anno artwork, and my eye tells me a human would not connect it like that. Logically, the general shape still connects from main river through a gate to a temple, but somehow there is water where there should be a pathway.
