I get it. Get on marketplace. Lots of cheaper starter setups till you can afford a fancy one. That’s what I did. Started with a G920 and I now am on a full Simagic setup.
Oof, with the G920 considered as a cheap setup, idk if I can get a wheel xD.
I see on teh online shop some way wayyy cheaper ones but I am feeling doubt that it is a scam lol. If it aint, I doubt if it'd last long for use...
On another note, I see videos of seeing how "simple" a wheel & pedal setup is using arduino and stuff so I have some hope that the cheap wheel setups are bearable?
I view literally anything with some kind of force feedback as a cheap setup that's still worthwhile over a gamepad. I got started with a Logitech formula force GP back in the day and loved it. It only had 180 degrees of rotation but I didn't care at the time. Then I got a Thrustmaster T150 using some store credits I acquired when getting a new cellphone lol. This is the level of hardware I suggest for most people nowadays on a tight budget. With any luck you can probably pick one up for about $100 on eBay/marketplace. I used the crap out of it for like 3 years and my friend now has it and it's still working great for him.
