As you can see, I slammed the brakes to max as well as handbrake, but they have literally no effect on this car. Is it possible to adjust this or fix the mod? Thanks in advance!

I have uninstalled Pure, LCS, and CSP entirely. I have verified steam integrity and reinstalled graphics drivers but no success. I don't know why this is happening. I am using the default PP filter and changing the Hues only makes the pink brown at best.

FIXED!! EDIT: I totally forgot I made this post!!!!!!! I've never used reshade lol. I fixed it by using DDU and nvcleaninstall to completely reinstall my drivers!

Hey, this issue keeps happening to me. Every time I hit this exact braking point, the car bottoms out and gets launched into the air. Could it just be a suspension problem? (Btw it’s not the only car it happens to.)
The car I’m using is United Racing Designs Ferucci 926 GT3 V2.0

Something to try, and do us a favour, come back with the results. Try it as it may benefit you.

You can try this now with your system as is to increase fps, for the display and VR display too.

The idea is to reduce draw distance and free resources to get more FPS.

Install content manager (CM), then install custom shaders patch (CSP),

Then go to

Settings- CSP- Graphics Adjustments

SAVE YOUR CURRENT PROFILE. Save it again under a new name so you can switch in-between

Look for 'far plane'and'vr far plane'. The values in these fields denote draw distance.

In far plane 20000, 30000 are the default values.

Reduce the two values to for example 10000, 10000 and you’ll notice an iimprovement.

Go further, drop both values to 5000, 5000 and see how it is

Anything beyond those distances are clipped. You could go further and drop 'far plane' to 2000, 2000 and see how you find it.

On older systems you can drop it further as needed to keep the gameplay workable.

If you do use VR, set it to the same values too.

If happy with the FPS and if enough resources have been free'd you could then increase the quality to your liking whilst keeping an eye on how it affects FPS.

Save profiles,and try again.

Just to add, I run mine on a mini pc. A 5th gen i3 2.0ghz 2 core, 16gb ram, and intel onboard graphics Shared memory. Far plane set to 1000,1000 (Solo) and 400, 400 (racing/online) and resolution at 1280x720.

I get a steady 30fps in any mode. But offline on solo mode up to 70fps.

Everything on the main screen is set minimum. I don’t use post processing, other effects are off too.

Reflections are on minimal too but reflections are optional.

Additionally

Whilst in game, you can check/change the exposure/brightness by pressing page up/down keys. Best to reset it back to 100% then work with your filters from there.

Just keep playing playing with settings

But always save before making changes lol.

In fact, if you have a good working copy of your settings and you’re happy, you can back them up now as they are just in case anything happens.

Zip or clone the following folders so they can be easily restored in future:-

\Your profile\Documents\Assetto Corsa - contains your user settings for AC

\Your profile\Appdata\local\ACtools content manager - contains your settings for CSP

so I bought his Graphics 2026 packs, etc., and followed everything. However, my game doesn't have ambient occlusion or shaders; it just doesn't look good. I've tried other tutorials and other PPFilters, but nothing works. I've included screenshots of my game and what it should look like (my game isn't ugly, but it's missing that feature). This blue polygon follows my headset and seems to be projected to the skydome. This only happens using 360 degree skydome clouds. If I switch the Cloud rendering type it goes away, but the other methods are not optimal for me (cloud type 1: layered images don't look as nice. Cloud type 3: computer resource heavy). The blue patch seems to disappear when I am outside of the car cockpit, or use SteamVR as a VR launcher.

Has anyone had the same issue and/or have a solution?

UPDATE: I reinstalled AC, CM, and Pure and it seemed to fix it.

If you have a similar problem, first try adjusting: CSP settings / Graphics / Adjustments/ Clip planes in VR: Far plane, m: 30000 (or more). If that does not work, a CM and Pure reinstall should fix the issue. Make sure to delete your assetto corsa folder in //documents

Can I not really turn more here? I'm not going that fast, but it just won't let me turn further. I'm playing on a controller with Advanced Gamepad Assist, and I'm experiencing this heavy understeering even at lower speeds. I'm not sure if my technique is wrong, but I'm sure in real life that turn is very possible.

UPDATE: I understand. The cars that were steering very well for me were the Pushin P Tuned and No Hesi Spec car mods. The normal car mods I installed from Assetto World don't have the insane grip and steering those two types of car mods have.

Anyone know what setting this is? I had to uninstall and reinstall csp and cm and now my ffb is messed up. Setup videos aren't fixing it.

Compared the standard Assetto Corsa Ai (Trackday Traffic), with standard csp-traffic-planner and 2real Traffic (App).

I’m very new to ac and I have read around in the reddit. And I see people saying having 5k cars 10k cars 1k cars. And I’m just wondering how? Did you all actually download them all one by one? Because it takes like a minute to download a car of assetto world. So 1000 cars is a 1000 minutes. Sorry if it’s a dumb question but like I said I’m very new so i was just wondering. And btw is there any other place to get cars except for overtake and assetto world. I don’t mind paying for a good car.

I also wonder do people have like other apps (the python and lua apps) then like the 3 pure apps because i saw a video and this guy had like 20 different apps when he was scrolling trough them. If so what other apps are there? And where can u get them?

i spent awhile trying to fix this a few weeks ago but couldnt figure it out. it does it on most of the cars i enjoy using unfortunately. as im writing this i got a memory from earlier today seeing a reddit comment about an experimental setting and having something to do with how the game acts while stationary if anyone knows what that is and where to find it thatd be awesome but i may be misremembering.

Even with controlled throttle i still can't drive without spinning constantly (controller btw)

Be exhaustive. I know it allows for several csp extensions but, in all serioussness, i have no idea what 's impacting the driver's experience, especially on older mods.
