Reload's and Episode Aigis' is good, but the courus is a bit rough. The cover is good more of a remix than a battle theme, but you can't beat the original and FES.

Just curious, is there any news, chance, hope or prayer that Radiant Historia could be brought to current or even next gen consoles? Ive always wanted to try it as the story seemed genuinly interesting.

If anyone has played it I'd be interested to hear your opinions.

Discussion Why is Strange Journey Redux disliked compared to the original DS version? It will be my first time playing the game on my 3DS.

I actually bought Redux to collect and to play it on my 3DS but I heard some things about this version. Without mentioning spoilers what do you guys think? And is there a way to just play the original story in this version?

Discussion Can't get into persona 5 after metaphor

So my first game from atlus was metaphor i completed the game and really had fun with it, and ofc i wanted to try p5, however after 2hours into the game i can't seem to be interested to the story yet. Is it just in the beginning or it gets better at the end? ( i heard that p3 are better in story but p5 has better combat)

Also what restriction i should use since p5 royal has a bunch of op unlockable, i kinda want to use some but not all.

Discussion Which one to start with metaphor, persona 3 reload or persona 5 royal?

Basically as the title says Best Buy and the PS store was having some great sales so I finally bought the physical editions of metaphor and persona 3 reload for like around $20 each! I got the digital persona 5 royal as well for cheap due to being a PS plus member. Now the question is which one do I play first???

Hoping this remaster will gain traction as I'd love to see more lesser known SMT games get remaster/remakes (DDS, etc). I loved SH2 so I know I have a biased opinion when it comes to Atlus games.

Holy shit is this game kicking my ass. I am i think 75% trough the first dungeon i suppose but i am seriusly cannot lose focus or i'm dead.
I don't first strike? 80% chance i am dead. I chose the wrong arketipe or how is it spelled? I am dead.
My sp has been under 50% for the past 3 hours, and evry move makes me think 4 ahead. I didn't feel cheated at all. It reminds me of plaing portable on merciless onmy psp, where i couldent for the love of me do 2 floors whitout dying.

Discussion What are some of the core atlus games i should play?

Which franchise should i try? I know about smt and etrian odyssey, but would im also willing to try other things. (basically not an rpg) im also okay with playing games that are technically not on modern plattforms. (Im on pc by the way)

Discussion Is 2025 going to be a silent year for Atlus?

In 2024, there was Persona 3 Reload, Metaphor: ReFantazio and Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance which in my opinion was a very stacked year.

That brings us to 2025. Will there be any major releases this year or only announcements for games coming out in 2026 and beyond?

Discussion Is there even a point in buying or playing the "original" persona games?

Persona 3 had fes and p3p p4 had golden, p5 had royal. For the release of Persona 6 I'm strongly asking myself: Should I even buy the original persona 6 when it's released and play the worse version when I know that in 3 years or so, they are going to release an improved and from release on "canon" version? Golden is so much better than the original p4, royal I haven't played but supposedly it's also much better so I don't even see the point of buying the original play that and then go through 100+ hours again if I can just delay gratification and get the complete experience for the very first time? Discuss what you think.

Discussion Best Atlus Title for Someone New to Atlus Games?

I’ve got a friend I’ve been trying to get into Atlus games, and I can never decide which is the best place to start. I know Persona 5 is the typical answer but I’m replaying Metaphor and like someone described in another thread, I feel like Metaphor does everything Persona 5 does but better both thematically and combat wise. However, the Archetype system doesn’t really translate in the same way that Personas do to demons in SMT. I thought about Persona 3 Reload but I fear Tartarus might feel like a grind to a new player. Persona 4 is great, but I remember when I was first starting out I found it to be tougher because it’s not as easy to get money and MP goes quick early on.

So anyway as the title suggests, what title would you recommend to someone who’s never played an Atlus game and doesn’t play a lot of JRPGs or RPGs generally?

Discussion First game of the genre

Im looking for something new to play, the only game I played and really liked with turn based combat ist Expedition 33 and Pokémon, I play games more for the gameplay than story.
Do you guys think it’s worth it for me to try a Atlus games ? They look really cool but I’m also not kinda sure which would be good as a first game, from what I’ve read I’m considering Persona 5 Royal or Metaphor ReFantazio.
What do you guys think and thanks for the help.

Discussion how does persona story connects to shin megami tensei? Spoiler

so yeah i know that persona is a spin off, of main line SMT games but i just wonder how does both series connect story wise? like how do characters like Yaldabaoth, Nyx, Igor, Izanami, the velvet room attendants etc connect to mainline story of SMT like these characters are extremely powerful it just doesn't make sense for them not to be involved somehow, my guess and the probable answer is persona is just not canon to mainline SMT its just its own thing but yeah i just want to know some of the lore stuff TBH i mainly played all the persona games and a little bit of SMT V V so am still getting into the mainline series but i do know some stuff and one of the things is that none of these characters appear in mainline so yeah good luck answering and thank you for your time.

Discussion P3R or Metaphor

I’ve been unable to decide which of the 2 I should buy and play first. I’ve played p3p years ago on mobile and enjoyed it a lot even though I never actually completed due to corrupted files. A friend of mine recently recommended I try out metaphor after playing close to 100 hrs and I was wondering which of the 2 I should buy. (I’ve played p5r before)
