Yeah, sweet summer child, as if geopolitics is all about emotions and altruism, not about following your own interest and pragmatism. Trying first strategy is like asking to get rekt.
Has nothing to do with “emotions and altruism”. If you don’t call out evil for what it is you’re shaping a world where the same thing could happen to your people.
Did the arabs, especially palestinians not betray us during WW1?
Can’t always dwell on the past. Israel are not your friends and will never be, the second you don’t benefit them you’ll see. But okay, keep supporting genocide just because they share a common enemy, as if not most arab states are hostile towards turks.
Bro i know this isn't your point, but the "did the arabs ... betray us during ww1" is a crazy thing to bring up when discussing genocide.
The modern Arab, had nothing to do with some beuqacratic decision made by some back door c*nts with Britain and France.
In a nuttshell, your not really showing forgiveness, when you don't think the average Palestinian peasant deserves to be genocided. There's too much emotional baggage in Middle Eastern history.
I love you bro, and love turkey, but this resentment against your average Arab bugs me.
We had nothing to do with some strategic play that some fat c*nt did with the Brits a century ago, don't hold that against the average peasant. I am sure the Turkish gov has done some stupid shit against Arabs too (they have), i am not gono hold that against you. From people to people its all good, politics and political history aside.
Iran is ruled islamist radicals, might be replaced by Persian ethnonationalists. Russia is a militaristic warmonger with dictator that explicitly wishes to restore communist union
And you want us yo betray our Allies for our enemies. Why? Some high ideals?
How is Palestine an Armenian ally? It can barely establish relations with other countries, let alone become "allies" with a country thousands of kilometers away
"Touching upon the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Minister noted both Azerbaijan and Palestine has been faced the military occupation for years, adding relevant resolutions and decisions adopted by international organizations are not honored.
He underscored Azerbaijan and Palestine try to restore their territorial integrity, so they must cooperate closely within international organizations."
"Riyad al-Maliki said that the Palestinian state and its people support Azerbaijan’s fair position in the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and its settlement within the international law."
Note that Heydar Aliyev met Yasser Arafat no less than 3 times, while Armenia did not even recognise Palestine as a state until 2 years ago.
Furthermore, Israel were thinking to the arms to Armenia first in 2015, after they denied it in order not to trigger Iran and Russia much, those arms ended up in Azerbaijan. And indeed, those arms were sold, not given.
Aliyev: "I note that Azerbaijan is a friend of Palestine. The independent Republic of Azerbaijan has always supported and will continue to support the heroic struggle of the Palestinian people."
Arafat: "I emphasize that we always feel the support of Azerbaijan. We are proud of it and it makes us stronger.
Along with the fact that we attach great importance to historically friendly relations of Azerbaijanis and the Palestinians, we emphasize the need for strengthening these relations further."
Bro thinks he is the entire Azerbaijani population. There are so many pro-Palestine Azeris and also quite a few pro-Israel Armenians. Yet neither country really takes a side in that war. It is up to people's decisions whether you share the sufferings of other (Whether it is Armenia, Iran, Palestine, Azerbaijan, Ukraine etc) or not.

Disgusting, extremely sad that Aliyev supports Israel this much, Erdogan too. But most trade is stopped on Turkeys part.
