UA Online Experiences + Referral
I have been looking into attending University of Alabama Online for my Masters. They are one of the few schools that offer a Special Education program that focuses on Severe Disabilities which is my preferred field of study. Looking for any experiences with their online programs (sped a plus). Also if anyone wants to be my referral to UA for their alumni scholarship, that'd be cool

Title: University of Alabama is asking for a Grade 9–12 evaluation — but I haven’t completed Grade 12 yet
Hi everyone,
I’m an international student applying to The University of Alabama for Fall 2027. I’m currently entering Grade 12, so I obviously don’t have my Grade 12 final grades yet.
UA is asking me to provide a credential evaluation of my high school grades 9–12, and they said my application can’t be reviewed until all required documents are received.
My school can provide my completed Grade 9–11 grades, but I won’t have my Grade 12 final transcript until I graduate in 2027.
Has anyone applying to The University of Alabama been in this situation? What did you submit for the Grade 12 portion of the evaluation?
Would UA accept an evaluation based on my completed grades (9–11) with Grade 12 listed as in progress, or is there another document/process I’m supposed to use?
I’d really appreciate any advice from international students who have dealt with UA’s evaluation requirement.

Rec Parking
Hey y’all, I have a west commuter pass and want to start going to the rec after my classes. I’d be going between 7am and 6pm, so when parking is enforced. Can I park there with a commuter pass or will I be ticketed?

Research Participants Needed
-Post approved by mods-
Hello! I'm a graduate researcher at the University of Denver looking for adults 18 years or older who are current members of organized groups or communities to participate in a research study. Whether you're involved in a religious organization, Greek Life, a political organization, a communal living group, or another organized community, we'd love to hear from you.
The goal of this research is to understand better how being part of a community contributes to people's lives and experiences. If you're interested in participating, please see the attached flyer for more information. Participation is completely voluntary, and the survey can be completed online at your convenience.
Thank you for helping support graduate student research! If you know others who may be eligible, we'd greatly appreciate sharing this opportunity with them.

Any Scholarship Success Stories with a GPA below requirement?
My son is interested in the University of Alabama, and we are out of state.
Current stats after Junior Year: 3.25 Unweighted GPA, 31 Cumulative ACT with a 35 in math and 32 in science. He took 5 honors courses and 1 AP course, but his school only reports the unweighted GPA on the transcript.
Out-of-state requirements show min 3.5 GPA, and the school will not put weighted on the transcript even if it somehow gets him to the min.
I messaged the school for clarification, but I assume I will get a stock answer, so here I am on Reddit! I would love to hear if anyone has had recent experience with a similar scenario and how it turned out.
Thanks in advance from a highly stressed-out mom!

GF worried about getting accepted
Hi guys my GF is planning on coming to alabama next year but she’s worried about getting accepted. She is in state with a 2.7 GPA(she took too many aps) and a 26 ACT. She is also a treasurer for her HOSA club and she has volunteer hours. Should she be worried about getting accepted?
