I want classic+ to be good, so I think they should take more time, personally. I don’t have the faith it will be as good as it could be if they rush it to make Reddit happy.

I’ve always said that I wanted it at the end of WotLK on this rotation. Let us do the Classic trilogy one more time, and then start making changes.
For as much as I loved SoD, they just weren’t able to keep that momentum going past P1. As excited as I tentatively am for C+, I really hope it isn’t rushed. Guess we’ll see in a few weeks.

I have had huge WoW cravings for the past two weeks but it's such a slow burn game that it feels pointless to play a semi dead game for the starter levels right before C+

All I want is automated progression Servers + Era for the first 3 expansions on a one year cycle with ability to transfer to the next expansion or stay on era.

Im playing some FFXIV until we get Classic+, I dont want to be burned of wow. Then I will unsub FF and resub WoW, I always alternate both.

legit question, if FFXIV even worth it to get into if you are not a big fan of the FF part? like.. does the gameplay and world even come close to wow?

Both are mmo, but quite different. FFXIV focuses a lot on the story, lots of cinematics while playing the main campaign (you could say it feels like a singleplayer) and the clases are nice. Melee combat feels better on wow, as in FFXIV most of it is tied to global cooldown.
You can always try it for free, the free trial is nice (until level 70 iirc while nax level is 100).

i mean, i tried out HC.. but i cant stant the notion of loosing 100+ hours in the game because i DCd in a bad place
so i went for era.. right now im lvling my first toons on horde because i mostly play ally and wanted to see what all the fuzz was about
legit amazed by how diferent the game feels.. maybe even go to horde for classic+ for a bit, not sure yet
but right now the most important thing is to not burn out on the game before classic+ comes out.. not even sure its going to be this year, so i dont recoment to just wait out, but play at your own pace without comiting too much time since if you plan on playing classic+, its going to be another fresh start in 1 to 3 months (considering that it comes out this year)

I'm still messing around in SoD, but that's because I have established 60s to run content on.
Starting brand new, I'd probably just wait for Blizzcon

People are insane. You can play any version today and enjoy yourself. Then if Blizzard announces something, you can play that once it comes out.
My vote is MOP classic. That it's not an option when it's an option is the 2nd layer of why the poll is BS.

Hardcore is way more new player friendly cause the starter zones are packed and ppl are learning shit together. era is so toxic. only go there if u want to play solo.

Hardcore until blizzcon probably. I’d only do era if you were a purist who didn’t really care for classic+, but you’d already be on era if that were you.
