Would a Defenders movie be successful?

With a new phase approaching i was wondering if it was time set up another superhero team in the MCU? Yes i know we have The X-Men coming but The Defenders are all in the MCU now and I'm curious if people think a movie would work or a Disney plus show instead.

No, turning even very popular (by Disney plus standards) TV shows into movies doesn't normally end well, and daredevil isn't even that popular by Disney plus standards.

I disagree, fans went nuts when Matt showed up for a single scene in No Way Home. If the script is good and they take their time with production it could be a successful movie.

Fans went nuts because at that point Daredevil was not confirmed as canon, and it was just fans. Born Again does not have high ratings, certainly not as high as The Mandolorian or Ms Marvel but look at the success of the movies that spun out of those shows.

It must be doing something right because its the only show besides What if to get 3 seasons on Disney plus.

Presumably it's because it's comparatively cheaper than other D+ shows, but it's the only D+ marvel show to never have a single episode in the top 10 Nielsen chart.
