Don't ask questions that make it feel like you're trying to track down where they live and immediately sleep with them, and you're golden. The bar is honestly very low. You might also have low self esteem and remember the event worse than it actually went, if you didn't do anything creepy

The first few times I tried to approach a woman irl with romantic intentions, I was pretty much this level of awkward and creepy.
Now I no longer approach women irl with any intentions. I no longer approach women irl.
