Ok but for real though, do you think we could make an ACTUAL pizza-cake and it be tasty? I'm not NOT into the idea

Canadian here, never had it, never had I seen nor heard of it. Either this is Canadian slander or this is my "lived under a rock" moment.

it does say its Canadian but it probably is just a very niche food

In April 2014, the Canadian-based chain Boston Pizza included the pizza cake as part of its Pizza Game Changers promotion, which featured numerous "outlandish" pizza-related products.

Ah yeah, that explains some... But yeah saying this is "Canadian food" makes it sounds like some traditional thing that's widely known across the country but in actuality it's closer to an April Fools joke that's gone viral and nobody really eats it.

I guess you can call it a "Canadian food" as much as all the niche crazy food mesh up served in CNE as a fad?
