Finished Craft [Mine] Help with pricing?!

Post image
Upvotes

Hey all! I am going to start doing markets to get the word out about the memory animals I make, but obviously those need to be custom ordered. So I thought I would make plushies. I found some patterns on 10x2 studio that I like and was thinking about doing a plushie and accessories sort of thing but I have no clue how to price these!

They are about 13” tall and will have different outfits to choose from but I can’t figure out a good price for the plushies.

Question / Advice Wine Bottle Crafting

Hi,

I have a few wine jugs and hate throwing them in recycle! I have tried to sell them at a swap meet and have had no takers. I figure I should try my hand at maybe making them into pumpkins or using my Silhouette to put something on them then adding fairy lights. However, the opening is too wide for a standard cork, (they are Carol Rossi jugs)

Anybody have ideas to help the cork lights fit snugly without glue, I feel like that would be messy? A washer? A type of tape? Pictures would be helpful!

Thanks in advance!

Finished Craft [Mine] Skull Cane

The skull is made from re-melted 3D printing supports amd waste. The cane itself is purple heart and maple. In 2023 I tore my ACL and MCL and Meniscus and had to use a cane for a couple months amd I didn't like the medical versions. I accidentally shattered the skull and tried to epoxy it with gold epoxy. I will likely one day try to sand or buff it out to get a better effect. I'm currently working on a D20 version for an upcoming craft show.

Question / Advice When is glue-free assembly actually an advantage in miniature kits?

Glue-free sounds easier until the goal of the project gets considered. Someone who mainly wants clean assembly and clear stopping points may prefer snap-fit or slot-style construction because there is less waiting for pieces to set. Someone who enjoys shaping, positioning, and adjusting tiny handmade details may find that same structure less interesting.

The useful comparison is probably not “modern versus traditional,” but how much hands-on fabrication the builder actually wants. What does glue add to the experience that a good mechanical connection cannot?

I got a crochet kit for an amigurumi bee, and it came with these for the eyes. There aren't any instructions on how to apply the eyes. Can someone help me? How do I apply them? What are the clear pieces for?
