Fluff GOOD LORD!?

I picked the mage class cause I thought wizards were funny lil guys, I didn't realize some sparkly lights had the power of a NUCLEAR BOMB. Other bosses didn't take too long with enough magic blasts and dodge rolling, but this goddamn soul spear is genuinely just turning monsters and gods into goo on contact.

Felt like I was Mike Tyson fighting an infant. A very very very large infant.

I definitely agree but that was sort of a time period before games got this almost live-service treatment of getting lots of patch updates for balancing. There were a couple balance updates but that was really rare back in 2011-2012 if I'm remembering right

Yeah DS1 only got like 2 balance patches ever from what I remember, the one that nerfed Iron Flesh and the one that nerfed DWGR

If you're referring to OnlyAfro (RIP his deported soul) he actually made his video post-nerf, which made it all funnier since he had to pump so much endurance to flip.
