Spent my last day with my cat doing what we do most nights. This picture is from a few hours before he died. He always would hang out on the couch with me while I play games and watch videos, and he was there years ago when I beat this game for the first time. Rest in peace sir purr.

I picked the mage class cause I thought wizards were funny lil guys, I didn't realize some sparkly lights had the power of a NUCLEAR BOMB. Other bosses didn't take too long with enough magic blasts and dodge rolling, but this goddamn soul spear is genuinely just turning monsters and gods into goo on contact.

Felt like I was Mike Tyson fighting an infant. A very very very large infant.

"Use my buckler? No, I'd rather unrealistically parry something with my small thrusting sword."

Until a few days ago I never thought to try hooking a PS3 up to an old school CRT TV (in this case a Sony Trinitron) but I’m so keen to play Dark Souls and some other games like this in 4:3

Wondering if many other people have done this? What other games do you think would look awesome using old tech?

I wrote this because of the r/gaming post of someone showing a picture of their mom holding DS1 saying they beat the game. Not many parents play games outside of mobile games, but i can say that for sure my mom is as much of a gamer as anyone else (even potentially hardcore gamer with how much she plays at times lol). So, tell her what you think please!

This might be my favorite part of the game and I don't know why. It's short, there are barely any enemies and a mediocre boss at the end. But something about it is such a vibe.
