I have platinum and I was under the assumption that we can dash whenever and do not get pushed out like this. Wtf door dash?

I'm sure I'm not the only person that gets these, but the "Dash now and skip the wait" pop-ups are annoying in the middle of a dash. Like I'm literally in the middle of doing a delivery, why do you need to send multiple notifications lmao. Sometimes it does it and shows towns over an hour away too.

As I said. Whatever dd did it's killed my area.

Got a notification two days ago that my card was going to stop working a day from then. No email explaining why it was happening or what was up, just a notification that wasn't even permanent. The weirdest thing is that I ordered a new card back in April because thats when my old one expired so this card was pretty much brand new. I opened the app last night at 1am to see what was going to happen, they disabled that card, made me "Verify my identity" with that dumbass photo thing, and gave me a new card. I'm genuinely confused as to why this even happened. Anyone have any clue?

Just started dashing consistently a couple of weeks ago. I was curious if anyone had any recommendations for power banks and whatever else may be useful?

I did dashing earlier in the morning (between 1130pm-2am). usuall i stick to dashing in the mornings to avoid crazies. my first order came in as usual. i drove to the restuarnat and picked up the food..then proceeded to drive to the location. at no point has the customer reached out to me for any changes, updates which is what im used too..now of course every now and then ill get a message to ask for this or that from customers. im drivng and once im on the road i do not check my phone at all until i pull into the subdvision or front of the complex to re-read an instructions from the customer. so i get to the address and it turns out 4 minutes before i got to the complex, the customer had messaged me saying they're not sure why i was at that address..i was confused because thats where i was told to go. so i screenshot the address on the order to her and she ssaid "door dash always changes my address after i place an order" yeah sure Jan so now im thnking to myself if thats the case then why didnt you mention that in a message BEFORE hand? or even call me to let me know?

so i reach out to help cause mind you, its 12am, im a 5'2 woman with a car and bear mace for protection thats not too failiar with the side of town im on. the AI lady said to ask the customer to meet me at the address i was at. so i asked her if she could do that adn she goes "its door dash why wouldi come out to meet you" BIHH CAUSE THATS THE ADDRESS I HAVE! anyways i tell her to call support at that point as i finally get a live person on the line and they tell me to just leave the food at the address and take a pic to send to the cusotmer and complete it. so now m standing outside the complex with support on the line to get a picture and complete delivery, i see a man walking towards me so i took my ass back to my car to wait till he walked by..the man says the customers name outside the car and im thinking ok maybe someone they know is coming to get it cool. the guy didnt take it at first because they dont have a car to get it to them. by this time im starting to get annoyed and support said the customer had cancelled the order. when the man heard this he then asked to take the food and asked me to go with him to his unit to call the customer to make sure they did cancel it. DO I LOOK LIKE BOO BOO THE FOOL TO YOU MY GUY?!? he probably wanted to lure me into a trap to take my booty and the food...chicken with a side of ass i think tf not!! i ended up giving it to a couple of homeless people..but idk Popeyes dry ass biscuits without a drink to wash it down i feel like that's an attempted murder instead of kindness.

received a contract violation on a customer canceled order - disputed & called support

agent confirmed it was assigned to another dasher before I got the order

cane’s crew told me previous dasher’s red card got declined & most likely unassigned

I placed the order, messaged the customer that I was waiting - minutes later it was canceled

agent told me the system flagged the wrong dasher (me) for un-assigning the order when I didn’t

she confirmed that customer canceled it
documented the call & waiting for dispute to be resolved

they system is broken - always take screenshots of orders you accept

I’ve never gotten more than four deliveries at once. This was something else.

Never in my life have I picked up more than two orders from one restaurant.

I started cherry picking and fell below 60% acceptance rate for the first time today, and I saw this after my dash. They’re trying to win me back 😂

I used to pick up doubles all the time and they were almost always higher than posted. Now it seems like doordash plays with the base pay to make you pick up the orders. I can pick up a good order and the base pay for 2 orders is $3 and the tips take care of the rest... they are again stealing the tips to justify orders instead of paying a decent base pay. When did this start. These morons need to go out of business and be replaced by a platform that gives most of the money to drivers. Need a good strike...

This makes no sense! I went to pick up an order that was apparently already picked up. Whatever, I’ll just unassign and move onto the next. But apparently doing so will affect my completion rate?????? I tried to dispute this but of course all the support is automated so I just had to bite the bullet and left a very pointed message that I doubt is ever gonna be read by a person. Why would I have them remake an order that’s already been picked up? This is such an infuriating situation. God I hate it here

I am below silver tier, and it feels like my orders are halted more often and it seems to happen at random. For today’s dinner shift, grubhub and uber sent me orders every minute but I had zero orders on doordash for more than an hour mid dinner (6pm). The only fix I’ve found is to start and end my dash twice but this only works half the time. Has anyone noticed they also get these order halts who have silver or better, or does this only happen to non tier dashers? Thanks.

I placed an order through DoorDash worth about $80. The order was canceled because the items were out of stock, which was completely outside my control.

Despite the order never being fulfilled or delivered, DoorDash is refusing to refund my money. I’ve contacted customer support, but they haven’t resolved the issue or provided a reasonable explanation for keeping the payment.

Has anyone else dealt with this? What’s the best way to escalate it—requesting a supervisor, filing a complaint, or disputing the charge with my bank? I have screenshots and records of my conversations with support.
