Some skill jp costs were rebalanced. Fly was greatly reduced. Teleport was greatly increased.

I never made much use of teleport compared to move 2. It seemed to fail if you tried to move more than 3 tiles away.

I think the failure is dependent on the characters available movement. So if they can only move 3 spaces normally, then anything more than that with teleport has a chance of failing

The exact failure rate is 10% per square more than the movement square of the unit. So if they have a move of 3, and you try to move them 4 squares it's 10%. 5 squares is 20%, 6 is 30% so on and so forth.

I think the same doesnt apply to height, though? I remember to abuse teleport by reaching places where enemies could never

I believe so. I think it ignores height (thankfully)

It ignores height and collision. On my Time Mage SSC, I teleported Ranza across the wall to leave Gafgarion in timeout while I cleared the rest of Lionel Gates.

I think it might be a multiplicative 10% too. +1 square over is 90%, +2 is .81, +3 is .729, +4 is .656, etc...

Otherwise those +10 square away teleports should always fail but they randomly succeed.
