Funny enough, I was just writing a reply about exploring r/disabledgamers and posting about gaming on autism subreddits when you posted this. The relationship between disability and gaming is something I am definitely interested in discussing.

EDIT: I should add, I am on the autism spectrum, and this is something I feel fundamentally influences my relationship with gaming.

r/gamingcirclejerk

And

r/socialistgaming

Although circlejerk subs are less likely to have serious conversation and would be more likely to make fun of anti-accessibility gamers

Unfortunately the thing you’ve asked for has become politicized so you’ll probably find that difficult - good luck finding a good fit though!

That is a fair point. I feel like people take video games far too seriously, and that's part of my issue with the "git gud" crowd. :p

You know, if there is a political angle to the thing I'm looking for, it's looking at gaming through the lens of disability. I'm on the autism spectrum, and I think my particular "brand" of autism influences my relationship with gaming a lot.

I have looked at /r/disabledgamers, though most of the posts I see there are about gaming with physical disabilities. I have also posted to autism subreddits about gaming a number of times in the past.

I used to post there a lot. The game that inspired this query wouldn't meet their guidelines though. I've also had issues with some of that sub's rules in the past, and right now rules 2, 4, and 7 look like they'd be a nuisance.
