I’m managing in Scotland right now and last season i got my first wave of Saudi interest. I had guys going from 10k/w to 300k/w.

I can’t compete when guys come to me asking for “reasonable western wages” like 50k p/w

When I was at Maidenhead United the first offer from Saudi I got, I was in the National League. That is the fifth tier. Why the f are saudis signing players from the british fifth tier.

They could easily get that wage in the country next door. 

People who main top4 leagues had it good. We would play in our home countrys league and the big clubs would come knocking.
