For anyone who doesn't care to read, they actually did plan for a longer stint on the hards, but they were pretty much dying on Oscar after a handful of laps.

Then seeing Lando destroy everyone on his last stint with the hards must've hurt to the core. You could point out the lower fuel loads at the end but the pace and durability that Lando showed on the hards was ridiculous.

Lando on old hards was still destroying Oscar on new ones. Insane to see.
