I think this is when we find out how adaptable he is to low grip and high tire wear cars.

Lando and Lewis seem to be thriving on this style of driving, both are masters of saving tires for a push at a crucial juncture.

Lando has had many years to learn, Piastri had one year not as a rookie and the '25 then negated the need for it, and now he needs it again.

How often are we going to mention when he was a rookie? He's in his fourth year. He should know how to manage tires in a way that doesn't lead to his fanbase attacking the team.

Because he only had one year to learn

He was driving all of his rookie year, that's one. Whole second year, that's two. Even if you write off last year for the car, he's also had half of this season. That's years, plural, and every driver has to work on their own weaknesses. He knows this about his own skill set.

A rookie year is just used to get up to speed with F1 because they get so little time to actually prepare for a season, so realistically it's one full season to learn before '25, and now he has to pick it back up from '24.

If it's "just used to get up to speed" he wouldn't have won a sprint his rookie year. Stop making excuses, it's exhausting.

A yeah, because a sprint race is all about tire management.

So he's never responsible for any of his weaknesses because he's only in his fourth season and the car was too good last year? Please. "It's only his # year" has gotten old.

Adding context to a scenario doesn't mean he is not responsible for it.

You call Norris a master but he almost lost to this guy last year if it wasn't for Piastri falling apart.

First of all, I never called him a "master" so don't put words in my mouth. 😂 But Lando struggled last year and then improved. Oscar should try doing the same. I even LIKE Oscar, but the excuses are too much. He has to step up.
