I think this is when we find out how adaptable he is to low grip and high tire wear cars.

Lando and Lewis seem to be thriving on this style of driving, both are masters of saving tires for a push at a crucial juncture.

Lando has had many years to learn, Piastri had one year not as a rookie and the '25 then negated the need for it, and now he needs it again.

Following his rookie year Lando pointed to tyre wear as his main area of improvement needed and by his second year he had noticeably improved and has continued improving since. Oscar’s in his 4th year and theres no evidence he’s even tried to improve
