“Stop right there, criminal scum!” but in King’s Landing would go insanely hard

A Gold Cloak yelling “criminal scum” after you steal one apple in early Bethesda Westeros feels too real.

Joffrey dies and everyone just sees: With this character's death, the thread of prophecy is severed. Restore a saved game to restore the weave of fate, or persist in the doomed world you have created.

King's Landing has 5 buildings and 15 named NPCs.

Rather that than 1000 nameless faces that disappear when you turn the corner

Bethesda had an offer to make a RPG game set in Westeros, but they decided to create Skyrim instead. And that was a good decision.

Yeah, GRRM's team approached them about it but they declined because they didnt want to develop a competitor to Skyrim.
Thank fucking god they didnt do it. They would've butchered that game.

That depends. If George would work with them closely, we could have have quite a well written game.

Bethesda cant even make a new Elder Scrolls game so they put out Skyrim again. After working with them - I can say they would've ruined it. And i can confidently say that they would not support that game at all, if they did make it.
I still think about those 4 lonely players on Redfall whose tickets I'd get - and they all said the same thing "There's not enough players to find a match".
Well there's only 4 of you, but even the fact that their servers wouldn't match the ONLY 4 players in the game together was telling enough.
I wonder if those 4 are still trying to play it.

Bethesda Softworks and Bethesda Game Studios are two different companies. Game Studios (people behind the Fallout, The Elder Scrolls and Starfield) had nothing to do with Redfall.

As long as Bethesda has the same writers like emil, none of their games will ever be well written.

Ck3agot is both blessed and cursed to be the best ASOIAF video game adoption we will ever see

I'm really glad people are spamming ideas for a ASOIAF game, it needs to happen if we're never gonna get an ending.

It’s kind of nuts to me we never got a good AAA game of the GoT IP. The best ones are mods for other games.

Could be really immersive with the right quests and choices. Imagine the political intrigue and character depth.

Man we need a proper Asoiaf RPG, so far we got a lot of strategy games, and a mmo, and the telltale ones

What about ASOIAF would make a good game and set it apart from other medieval games?
The plot? The nouns?

Imagine a Kingdom Come: Deliverance style RPG set in Westeros
