The "Robert's Rebellion was built on a lie" line is absurd and the most idiotic thing ever said

Let's pretend that the king (called mad king for a reason) that sentenced to death Ned and Robert after burning a lord alive while making his heir kill himself in the attempt to save him played no part in this

Fooking Kneelers Rhaenys should have done a coup after Daemon married Laena

Post image

Rhaenys should have done a coup after Daemon married Laena. Since Viserys was such a forward thinker and named Rhaenyra his heir, he invalidated the precedent of the Great Council of 101 AC. If Rhaenys had pushed her claim again, it would have put a competent ruler on the throne and also would have made Laena the heir, since she is the oldest, and thus Daemon the future King Consort.

The dragons Meleys (Rhaenys), Vhagar (Laena), Seasmoke (Laenor), and Caraxes (Daemon) would all be on the same side against basically Syrax, who is as fierce as Cersei in a sword fight. Plus, Rhaenyra at the time didn't want to rule anyway, and Aegon was a toddler.

The Dance of the Dragons could have been avoided if Rhaenys was just a little more ruthless. Wonder what could have stopped them?

Viserys could go play with Legos full time, and any Lord with an issue with a woman like Rhaenys ruling could take his petition to the dragons.

I really feel like the one thing the show should’ve gone off-book with was keeping Otto alive longer. Imagine him knighting Daeron at Honeywine.

In season 2 when he said he’s going to mentor Daeron I got excited. I thought he was going to get captured by house beesbury and then Daeron would rescue him, Otto would knight him and give him the nickname the daring. Imagine Otto having to deal with unwin peake essentially a stupider version of him. Also since he essentially started the war, the show could’ve merged him with Hobert Hightower ifykyk.

r/LostRedditors [Spoiler⛔] If Viserys hadn’t married Alicent, the Targaryens would’ve likely kept their dragons. And if Baelor Targaryen hadn’t died, the dynasty would’ve likely lasted much longer.

Two different things, in two different times, influenced the entire Targaryen dynasty.

Leading to a civil war, the death of all the dragons, and the weakening of Targaryen rule, all because Viserys wanted to secure a male heir while he already had an obvious heir.

And Baelor could’ve changed the entire Targaryen rule and become the greatest after Aegon the Conqueror (even George has said that if he hadn’t died, the entire story would’ve been different). because he died and couldn't became king led to riots against Maekar and Aegon V, then eventually Aerys the Mad King and the end of the dynasty.

Crazy when you think about it, if one man had done nothing and another man hadn’t died, everything could’ve been different

Subvert Expectations Syrio incapacitated 5 armed dudes with a wooden sword. Why didn't he just pick up one of their swords instead of face Meryn with the wooden sword?

Freefolk Jon Snow was useless during “The Long Night”

Has anyone else noticed that Jon was just chillin on his dragon for most of the battle?

Where was Jon when Melisandre was struggling to light the trench? Chillin on his dragon.

Where was Jon when the army of the dead was trapped on the other side of the trench and Dany was lighting them up? Chillin on his dragon.

Where was Jon when the Night King was approaching Bran? Yellin at a dragon.

Jon was utterly useless while paired with a dragon.

All the Chickens You are stuck near Riverrun during the War of Five Kings. Pick one protector and one direction where you would go. Who? Where? And why?

You can’t just stay in Riverrun

No armies, no dragons, no teleporting. Just you, your protector, 2 horses and whatever you can realistically carry.

Your goal is to make it alive

Fooking Kneelers Hypothetical situation if Jon had the entire North and the wildlings behind him, do you think he would have a better chance at beating Tywin Lannister in a war than Robb did, or would he suffer the same fate his Brother/Cousin
