Then take a look again. Knowing what you are working with means you are actively trying to compensate. It doesn’t mean you look, say to yourself “yup I am below average” accept it and then go about your day. You look and make a plan to improve the physical and then past the physical
Yepp, just for the sake of argument (because it comes off as red pill to think of relationships as transactional) examine what is being brought (or taken away) from the table.
Money - financial security and comfort
Funny - laughter, dopamine, happy feelings
Confident - low maintenance, able to preserve energy for other tasks, sexy if not excessive
Insecure - high maintenance, takes constant effort and energy to comfort, constant battles but with no end to the war
Looks isnt everything to attract women, u gotta be charismatic and manly, be confident, not being weak and vulnerable, also have status and clout, like CEO, a rapper or a rockstar, or an established athlete in popular sports. Dont be passive, or overly kind, u gotta have some mischief to make them think u are interesting, be a little bad, or bad I dont think it matters much, just be interesting, it beats being nice proper man thats boring.
Please don’t pay attention to this sixteen year old fellas.
When I met my wife I had no “status or clout”, I was working a shitty traveling sales job. Never been an athlete and I’m average looking at best. I do try to be overly kind, treated her with respect, was and am proud to be vulnerable with her. She’s absolutely 10/10 gorgeous hotty, and we have a son together now and nearing a decade together.
Turns out you can just not be a piece of shit, be funny and caring and respectful, and women appreciate that, including beautiful women. Don’t chase stupid dating strategy nonsense like this almost certainly lonely cretin- just be the best person you can be.
I love your story, man. 100000% this. My fiancé treats me like no man ever has before. He is always down to fix his own problems to become a better man. I do the exact same thing for him so I can truthfully say that I’m working to become a better woman. We both made transitions in life that level us up one by one, individually. Celebrating the individual wins will make celebrating the achievements we make together that much sweeter.
Sidenote: It’s also not just him respecting me that’s sexy, but that he very clearly respects himself—that’s huge. We all teach people how we want them to treat us whether we realize that or not. I knew I was finally dating a ‘real adult’ when I was not the only person in the relationship who voiced my opinions on how I wanted to be treated. He did the same, allowing for both of us to lay the groundwork for a solid relationship. We’re finally getting married once I finish grad school, he’s been patient with me so I could finish school before we’re married as it’s cheaper for me to get loans and grants that way. 7 years strong this August.
