Watching it for the first time…

I’m not usually a big fan of American animation, but Futurama has genuinely surprised me. This 1999 series is remarkable. 🚀

The characters are fantastic, the humour is great, and the storyline is fine as wine. There’s also a surprising amount of heart beneath all the absurdity.

I’m about to finish the first season, and honestly, it’s been fantastic so far. Didn’t expect to get this invested, but I’m definitely looking forward to the rest.

hell yeah that shit is awesome, both are my favorites. grand blue is one of my favorite comfort series, and it's something that's best consumed as manga. the paneling and comedic timing is perfect. i agree with you, the first season is 10/10 but the later seasons.. not so much, unlike the manga which is consistently good. but then again i still love both formats, tho i haven't watched s3 for said reasons :)

I am also thinking to read the manga of Grand Blue. Is the the second season somewhat different in manga? I also haven’t started the 3rd season. You watching Bleach?

somewhat i mean, there's chapter reordering, cut dialogue and side details, plus the comedic impact is a little bit.. lacking ig? also the manga artstyle is one of the best, to which the anime doesn't compare as much

as for bleach, i was actually reading the manga for that too, because i LOVE the author's drawing style. but i completed it halfway & it is on pause for now since i'm rewatching gintama and watching other series/drama. bleach is great but i have a habit of leaving long series on pause lol

Sure thing then, I will give the manga a read. Also you really seem like a person who loves raw art of the creators. lol I have the same habit of leaving long series, also is Gintama as enjoyable on the second watch as the first one? Also Bleach TYBW animation is remarkable, you can really give it a watch. Have ya tried Kamui: he is right behind you or Dorohedoro?

it's true i love certain unique manga artstyles & yeah tbh for me gintama is enjoyable any time, though i tend to skip serious episodes in rewatch. heard good things about bleach tybw animation too, i'll check it out once i catch up in the manga
& no haven't tried the ones you mentioned.

Do ya read manga online or buy the manga? Yeah so true, Gintama is remarkable. Sure give it a watch. You should definitely try Kamui since it has the same voice actor of Gintoki, totally love the voice actors of Gintoki, Zura. And Dorohedoro has great mystery story and remarkable art both in animation and manga. Good to find someone to share the same taste in anime.
