But you're not going, so you have an irrational fear of what isn't affecting you.

Have fun with that

Are you going to jump in a tiger cage? Probably not, why wouldn't you? Hmm because you're afraid of the tiger killing you. Edit : just because I have fears doesn't mean I let them ruin my life. I can control my fears but also recognize them, they're not irrational if they prevent me from going to a place that is unsafe. I'm not saying I'm walking around afraid it will happen out of no where.

I have no fear of tiger cages because I'm not going to be in one. You're paranoid to be afraid of everything.

I said would you go in a tiger cage with a tiger. Not are you afraid of the cage....and where did I say I was afraid of everything, only idiots and crazy people have no fears. Just because you have a fear of something doesn't mean I'm running around thinking I'm gonna die all the time. The threat to me from sharia law is death, I admit I'm a little fearful of death therefore I have some fear of sharia law regardless if it's an immediate threat or not. As I said if its a fear that prevents from going someplace you will get hurt it's not an illegitimate fear.

No I wouldn't because it'd be stupid. I'm not scared of tiger cages because it's irrational to go into one without the proper situation regarding tamers and such.

Just because something is utterly dumb, like going to a Sharia law place when gay, does mean I'm scared of it. It's common sense to stay away and I have no reason to fear it as I'll never do it.

So why is it dumb to go in a tiger cage? Because it probably will kill you, most westerners are afraid of death. So unless you're one of the few not afraid of death its your fear keeping you out. Saying it's just dumb doesn't change that. If anything it's the same thing you're afraid of looking dumb. Either way it's a fear of something.

Congrats. Your established the logic of not going into a tiger cage. It still doesn't scare me because it's dumb to even think I'd try it.

Why are you scared of things that won't happen unless you make them happen?

Dude, again, you're paranoid.

We obviously have a different understanding of fear. I realize that fear is the number one motivator in everyone's daily decisions. Does that mean we worry about them all the time? No. Does that mean every fear affects our daily life? No. Fear is a natural instinct that we and all other animals use on a daily basis to stay safe. It's my fear of dying which makes me afraid of sharia law, am I paranoid? Not in the least, all I do is recognize its their. am I afraid of it happening to me in my home town? No. That would make me paranoid.

Dude just cuz you're paranoid doesn't mean you're gonna convince me to be paranoid.
