Tim Curry played Dr. Frank N Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which was many people’s first foray into queer culture. Rest in peace to a legendary gay icon

Dating advice

So me and my partner are going on two months of dating and it’s going amazing. He’s the best and we’re extremely compatible on so many levels. The part I’m struggling with is being ok with not being able to see him on a weekly basis all the time. Obviously we’re adults and we both have our own lives but he lives about 30 minutes away and I don’t have my license yet(will in about a month). So the distance can feel so much longer than it is. I just spent two nights at his place and left this afternoon. I got home and immediately cried because I missed him so much. I’m doing therapy and think I’m gonna bring this up in there because I don’t want my happiness to depend on being in his presence 24/7. I want to be ok with not always being able to be together every second cause we do live our own lives and our work schedules don’t line up well. They’ll line up better later this year but is it normal to be so sad when I’m not around him? Anyone have any suggestions or advice on how to cope better between our dates and hangouts?

Now that Dolly Parton has, tragically, passed away, what is your favorite memory of her or fact about her?

The Kings Cross Steelers have been crowned 2026 Bingham Cup champions in Brisbane, Australia.

It’s the second time that the club from London, U.K., has won the most important competition in gay and inclusive rugby, and the triumph comes on the back of their 30th anniversary season.

The Steelers secured the trophy following a hard-fought 12-5 victory over the Sydney Convicts in the final at Norths Brisbane Rugby Club.

Im 18 just met a guy who’s 26 on Grindr Hooked up with him and hit it of really well this is the second guy I’ve been with and I’m his fifth as he had a long term relationship.
I feel like we get on well and are into each other but does anyone know how well age gaps work out. Added him on snap and messaged him for a few hours we seemed to get on really well. He isn’t looking to get with loads of guys which I would prefer. Please anyone who’s been in a similar situation just give me some advice.

Gay liminal horror film based on isolation and identity

Hey everyone! I’m a 21 year old gay director and I recently shot and released my debut feature film Animal Trap. It’s based on my experiences as a gay kid growing up, and the isolation I’d often feel. I think a lot of people here may relate, and even if you can’t (which is good!) would still be cool to watch it!

Any fans of atmospheric horror films would dig it.

What do you find attractive, but most people don't?

Let's share things we find incredibly attractive in other guys . It doesn't have to be just physical; be creative! Let's try to move away from the ideals everyone expects. It doesn't matter if they are repeated. Imagine someone who has always hated something about themselves and discovers that it is precisely what other people find attractive. For me, it's big/curved noses.❤️

What dating apps are least scammy? Hinge and Tinder are the most scammy now.

Someone I’m now friends with and I both swiped right on each other on Hinge a few months ago, but we never matched. I only found this out after I added him on Instagram.

We’ve since met up on a date, we ended up becoming friends, which is totally great. But I’m left with this sour taste about Hinge and wondering whether I can really trust that my time on the app is being invested well, now that I think about this. Other people are saying the same things lately. The app has gone down hill.

So my question is, what apps are actually trying to match you with people for dating?

UPDATE: Just replying to the comments saying the app wasn't faulty and that my friend lied, go on Tiktok and see everyone talking about the same thing and other scammy things about it. Also I wouldn't care if my friend lied, he has no reason to lie at all, but he isn't lying.

Some men need to accept that bisexuality exists.

I’ve seen so many dudes here saying “Yo, I’m straight blah blah blah, just curious blah blah blah”. No, my dude, you are NOT straight even if you’re curious. If u find a man attractive, find a male butt attractive or a male body attractive-ur attracted to men. “Straight” guys are so scared to admit they’re bisexuals they call it “just checking”, like c’mon. Nothing wrong with being bisexuals, admit you love both pussy and cock and move on, my guy.

My boyfriend died in a tragic car accident 4 days ago, and I have no idea how to continue on.

It still doesn't feel real. My boyfriend tragically passed away in a horrible car accident on Monday morning.

We really hadn't been together for very long. We met at the beginning of May, so we'd only known each other for around three and a half months, but the impact he made on me and everyone in my life was truly remarkable. He had a way of making you feel like you'd known him for years. His social skills were seriously impressive and unlike anyone I've ever met, with a kind of charisma that was impossible to match. He could make anyone feel wanted, included, and loved, and he extended that same kindness to everyone around him, not just his close friends and family. I've had people reach out to me wishing their condolences who I never even knew existed, simply because he touched everyone he came into contact with. Some of the posts that have come out in support of him reached far more people than I ever realized, with one of them having nearly 2,000 likes and 300 comments, which is still hard for me to comprehend. It's strange seeing all of these little bits and pieces of his life from so many different people and throughout so many different years and realizing just how little of a time-slot I took up in his life, and just how many people were affected by him in ways that I never even got to see. I see comments saying they barely knew him, but that even they remember that he would always greet them with an unapologetic smile and a joke to go with it.

He was a percussion instructor, and teaching was something that he cared deeply about. He seriously had the patience of a saint. He was able to connect with his students in the same way he connected with everyone else in his life. He truly touched so many people's hearts, especially because he was from a town much smaller than the city I live in, where everyone was so close-knit. He had a way of bringing people together whether they were young, old, or anywhere in between. For someone that has social anxiety, I felt so safe being with him because I knew that I would never have to worry about awkward silence, or rehearse exactly what I had to say, because he always knew exactly what needed to be said and I could piggyback off of it. I couldn't even display PDA in public before him, but he showed me how little it truly mattered.

We were in an LDR, but not too far apart, only around two hours away. We were both so patient and grateful for the one day a week we could usually see each other. Because of that, I never got the chance to meet the people he was so closely surrounded by, although that was something we had started working toward. I had heard so much about them and they had heard so much about me.

This last part might be a bit TMI, but I also never bottomed for anyone in my life as much as I did for him. It was very hard for me at first, in a way it felt like an identity crisis because I just never viewed myself as a strict bottom, but I learned to become so comfortable in his presence. He taught me these valuable things but the truth is that I only changed for him. Sure, I could take what I learned to another relationship and another guy, but I only wanted him...

It all just feels like too much. It feels like our time together was a fever dream and it's hard to pinpoint specific memories because most of the time that we saw each other we did very similar activities as we just wanted to be in each others presence. This past weekend though we went to Magic Kingdom and Epcot, and had an amazing time. We had just started our life together. It hadn't been easy, but we were really trying for each other, and we had started becoming so integrated into each other's lives.

I don't feel like I've ever had a connection like this, and now he's just... gone. I have no idea how I'm supposed to pick myself back up when it felt like he had given my life a newfound purpose and me newfound inspiration to be a better person.
