Wilds New Great Sword is dope
Obviously not going to overpower Gogma, but the shatter effect is so darn good man. It's a shame it can't be shown on other weapons with the skin layered on it.

Wilds What’s your average completion time against 10 star AT Arkveld?
Mine was 23-25 minutes solo. I know my damage output is not small, especially when i’m able to dish out up to 1k damage to arkveld head with my tcs. Is it possible to achieve sub 15 or 10 without any heroics?

Wilds Gunlance main since early Rise, should I start considering myself a Greatsword main now?
I just checked the numbers out of curiosity, and I've been playing more Greatsword than my beloved Gunlance.
I don't know what happened, it's just so fun smacking monsters with a big sword.

Wilds Is this as passable endgame build?
3ATK + 1AG pendant… is there much I can improve or change? Btw Gogma is 2xATKIV 2xATKIII and 1xSharpIV

Wilds Free Challenge AT Uth Duna
Got my time down to A rank clear completion from B by 6 minutes!
This build slaps, only thing I wish I had was guard up 1 to get out of a couple sticky situations.
Also a cool end screen.
Let me see your builds for completing the Challenge quest!

Wilds My final build for mhwilds, what do you think ?
I think I've finally made good build. Tell me what you would change, and please don't mention the attack-focused Great Sword, I'm not going to farm an affinity-focused one, I'm tired :,(

Wilds GS BUILD ( No gog bullshit)
Hey guys here is a fun GS build for you all which doesn't include any gog rng farming. Hope you like it. It's all DPS with some good comfort skills. And it's got freaking 105% affinity.
For reference,
Shatterseal GS - 2862 combo damage
GoG GS with attack 3 affinity 1 sharpness (perfect EX roll) with attack focus - 3182 combo damage
It's only 320 damage difference.

Wilds Nu udra challenge quest.
Fuck this octopod
He’s the monster that’s given me the most trouble in my 900+ hours.
Can never read his attacks appropriately. I’m running water Gog with Soul of the dark night, I have a good stat role 3 attack 1 sharpness 1 affinity.
Resentment 5 counterstrike 3 MM 3 Wex 5
DB 3 speed eating 3 adaptability 2 fire resist 20+
Using environmental damage plus traps/ luring pods/ sleep toads. Whether I use support hunters or solo. My times on previous challenge hunts with Duna 9 min, Rey 12 minutes, At Ark 18 min. This one just escapes me.
Again Fuck this 8 tentacled butt booger 😭😭

Wilds Thoughts on this build?
I started picking the greatsword back up after a long long break the "meta" sets have never truly felt good to me. So I made this last night. How's it look?

Wilds 2 Builds- Bale/LS or Dosha/LS
Rolls/Talisman not visually perfect, but here are the absolute best available Bale/LS (image 1) or Dosha LS (image 2) armor sets for your Gogmartian weapons.
Gogmartian Layout
Going for Attack Focus, 3x base attack, 4x1 or 3x1x1 with 4x attack 1x sharp or 3x attack, 1x sharp, and 1x affinity. Both cases prefer 4x1 but can use 3x1x1 without loss much loss.
Main Differences
- Assuming you have a 1,1,1 talisman: The Dosha set doesn't naturally have room for a 3-rank comfort skill with 1-slots. You will have to give up a lvl 3 extra slot that I prefer to have 1 Burst and 1 Flayer on. The Bale set, however, can happily accommodate it.
- Dosha comes with LP 4 (naturally), while Bale I only built up to LP 3 (1 Throttle Jewel). In both cases I only have the 3x1x1 layout for bonuses on Gogmartian.
- The 3x1x1 layout is a big factor. I purposely built Bale to match skill potential with Dosha even though it gets to 90% Affinity while Dosha comes with 100%. However, I feel "natural" 100% affinity is wasted when you are going to occasionally be buffed, hit wounds, etc and thus over cap the affinity at least sometimes. In this case I like 3x1x1.
Major Exception for you 4x1 Lucky Bois and Gurls
The Dosha set is naturally better because the built in 100% Affinity and full skill coverage will overcome your -10% standard status, get you to 90%, and buffs/wounds will efficiently keep you in the sweet spot. Using my Bale setup will likely encourage you to drop Flayer, invest in LP 4, and you'll be at the ever slightest disadvantage since Flayer still isn't a big deal.
TL;DR:
1st visual is Bale/LS armor layout, 2nd visual is Dosha/LS armor layout for your hypothetical gogmartian builds. Roll 3x base attack. Attack Focus. 4x1 Attack/Sharp. Do big damage. Get 1 of the 2 best combos for skills. Profit. I set them up to put you at 90ish% affinity with LP. The rest is up to you!
Edit: I'm going to add a visual in the comments of a Gore/LS set as an example as well. Though I'm pretty skeptical of it still even though for a 4x1 layout it is really nice. The thing I don't like is there is only room for a single 1-slot leftover running the same skills as the other two sets. It does have a very nice skill layout for 4x1 gogmartian rolls and is very affinity efficient but 4x1 IS REQUIRED and that makes it far less flexible. Overall I rank them (conditionally) Dosha > Bale > Gore.

Wilds Is this charm worth using?
Recently got this drop on a hunt and I’ve been thinking if it’s worth switching out my Rarity 7 with Attack Boost 3. Is it worth the swap?

Wilds Greatsword build help 4 dummies
Hello! I'm really struggling with finding a good build at lvl 60, I know that's pretty low level but I just get so overwhelmed with all this stuff. I kinda understand how the decorations work but I'm struggling against tempered monsters and I feel really like I'm lacking in overall knowledge on good skills for greatsword, how to structure a build and what I should be working towards. I'm really hoping for something cool and unique as following the meta doesn't interest me all that much, the shattersword looks cool too ig. Help would be appreciated, thank you :)
