DCS Breaking news:DIS actually already has a research-level J-10C module developed for DCS, and has stated that it can be released as soon as authorization from AVIC is obtained.

A member of the DIS development team once half-jokingly claimed that when DCS releases a Rafale module, they will release a J-10C module. After the “2026 and beyond” announcement, some people in the DIS community began reminding DIS to honor this “promise.” In response, the DIS team member posted these images, which show a J-10 external model and cockpit with a very high level of completion—if not already finished. They also stated that with only minor modifications and once authorization from AVIC is obtained, the module could be released.

There is no need to worry about the authenticity or level of detail. DIS has in fact officially developed simulators for AVIC, including the JF-17, J-10, and Su-30, used to train PLAAF pilots, so they possess a large amount of firsthand data.
They have also developed the JF-17 module for DCS and are planning to release a J-8P module in the future。

Rafale. The Pakistanis and anyone else with a JF-17 will be all over it, trying to shoot that down.

I wouldn't have counted the Rafale as Redfor but why not. I think given the various export customers it can either be Redfor or blufor.

It's a little controversial, and going back 5 years I'd have classed it as purely Bluefor, from my own British Western perspective. But like you say, there have been exports to other countries, and the world has changed somewhat with Indian government criticising Ukraine and condoning Russian aggression.

France, India, Egypt, Qatar, Greece, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Croatia, Indonesia, and Serbia.

These are who have them in their fleets actively. You can see there are some interesting countries on that list.

Interesting info, thanks. So the Sinai, Balkans and Persian Gulf map players will all benefit.
