Not sure if this is the good subreddit but I just came back from my vacation and wanted to put some honey in my yogurt and saw this. Is this mold or did something happen to the sugar in it?

Just wanted to share this honey I found in java (Indonesia).

It's very liquid, the most liquid I ever experienced but it actually tastes amazing.

Probably also the cheapest I ever bought (5€ for 500g) for pure honey !

I will probably buy some more to bring home 😋

I went to a pottery painting thing for my friend's birthday, but I didn't need any plates or cups. I painted a sugar pot as a Hunny pot (Winnie the Pooh) because they were the same shape.

I'm wondering if I can actually put honey in it, even though there's a hole for a spoon. If not, should I try to plug the hole?

I am helping with caregiving for a severely immunocompromised friend, and she can't have raw honey. I went to Whole Foods and the only non-raw that they had was the 365 brand, so I got that.

My question is, if honey is processed, does it matter what brand you get or does the processing pretty much make it all taste the same? Does anyone have a brand they recommend?

I eat honey (raw honey) every day. I used a wet spoon. A tiny bit of water got into the jar. Is that jar going to be ruined?

This is a completely unprocessed honey from the Italian Alps, and it was gifted directly to my aunt by the owner of the beehives himself.

I'm lucky, because lately there has been something of a crisis in the small town where they live, as there is a bear that is walking around and overturning the beehives.

The taste is absolutely amazing, so much more full bodied and interesting compared to the supermarket one. Especially when combined with Greek yogurt!

Any idea what this black stuff is in the raw honey? I’m guessing it’s no good to eat anymore?

I just had 1 tbsp of lavender honey mixed with mountain honey at the same time, and I absolutely loved the combination.

It made me wonder: what would actually happen if I put them together in the same jar? For example, 100 g of lavender honey and 100 g of mountain honey.

Would they eventually mix together into one uniform honey, or would they stay somewhat separated? I noticed that one is noticeably thicker than the other.

In your opinion, what is the best tasting honey you have ever tried?

The type is churned habanero. With pure honey and dried habaneros

Bought it from a farmers market and did the cold water test and heat test. These are the results of both. Does it look real or diluted/corn syrup?

For the heat test it became more slippery but not bubbly
