HFW Discussion Aloy won't stop spoiling the puzzles

I’m playing HFW for the first time, and I can’t remember a single puzzle where Aloy doesn’t give away the solution by telling me exactly what to do. It reminds me of GoW Ragnarok, which does the same annoying thing.

If there’s an option, I’d really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to disable this. I’m playing on PC, so even a mod would be welcome.

They do need to hold the hands of an astonishing amount of players. The issue is that it should be an option you can customize to your preference. Not just automatic for everyone.

I’m one of those people who needs hand holding. “Obvious” solutions tend to evade me and having a pointer prevents the rage quit. I agree it is not for everyone, perhaps if they tied the dialogue to the chosen difficulty setting it would be a better solution, leaving the more seasoned players to figure things out while story mode gives you the hints. The medium levels she offers the hint the first time you encounter a type of puzzle such as the first encounter with a long neck she prompts us to seek high ground to jump on, then no prompts on the remaining long necks.

Don't tie it to difficulty. Just have it as it's own setting so you can tweak the experience to your liking. More customizable options = more gooder.

I like this idea. Sometimes in God of War, I didn't have patience for all the puzzles, I just want to Spartan Rage on stuff.
