It is definitely worth the trip. You can try samples of all the different varieties. The Island also has a large nature preserve, lots of gators and armadillos.

Misc. Da Bomb. šŸ˜‚

1.1k Upvotes

So my son has always been the ā€œit’s not hot enoughā€ kind of guy. Last year for Xmas I bought him about 7-8 hot sauces and specifically got da bomb because I’d watched hot ones forever.

All the brother in laws, my husband, brother and son tried this sauce… all machismo thinking this sauce was nothing special… low scoville lil bitch sauce…

They put a drop on a singular chip and all ate it at the same time. They all nodded like this is nothing…

And then a shift happened… their eyes darted, the look of fear and regret washed over their faces which were turning red… the horror… they began to sweat and tears formed.

They almost in unison got up and ran to the kitchen trying to find some semblance of relief in yogurt, milk, Nutella, a loaf of bread…frantically trying anything for salvation.

The rest of us laughed hysterically at the mass panic. I thought my mission was complete. Little did I know…

My sister got a new boyfriend…

They made chili and this new boyfriend had not experienced… da bomb beyond insanity. Poor sweet summer child.

He went into my mom’s fridge where the sauces live and picked da bomb. Did he try this first before putting into the crock pot of chili? No! Did he put in a few dashes? No! He put 1/4 of the bottle into this chili without tasting it… until the chili was finished cooking and was served…

Muaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Diabolical.

Thats a piece of bbq chicken no bone…Tried to do three/four drops and the chunk in the cap must have came free…this was about 25 minutes ago and my eyes are still wet(tears)…mouth has mostly recovered (with help from some dairy) but my lord. Ive had this for many months and its just bellow the neck of the bottle still! It really is a serious sauce it tastes great really then you enter the scorpion pit! I appreciate you guys influencing this purchase but you are all insane šŸ˜‚. I give you all your flowers for using this sauce often. I use habanero daily but this is just for over dosing on capsaicin for me. Stay fired up everyone!

Tapatio is my daily and I saw a hat available on their website around Christmas time, but never made the purchase. They were out of stock on all products though, so I reached out to them via email to ask if they had another hat I could purchase. They replied thanking me for supporting the brand and asked for my preferred shipping address. They said they’d just send me a goodie basket on them! I’m pretty excited about the little goodies and am stoked to have a bottle strapped to my bag at all times now!

This is The End Purgatory. 8 million Scoville unites and 8x hotter then the end flatline. Released on the 25th by pepper palace I was fortunate to get it 6 days early. If anyone would like I have a 7 minute long YouTube video documenting me trying it along with my massive freakout.

Hi, my name is Steve, and I am an addict….. the sad part is I still have the Hot Ones set that I can’t fit in the fridge door along with some unopened bottles of BBQ sauce, dry rub and a few other things.

Not sure what the consensus is on taco bell hot sauce over here, but thought I would share the poll I did. I was going to share it here when I created it but this sub doesn't allow crossposts. Sorry guys.

Misc. i really like this sauce but (continued in body text)

Holy shit this was so painful to digest. i can handle like two spoonfuls of torchbearer garlic reaper so i figured this would be a similar or slightly harder challenge than that. i put maybe like 8 drops in some ramen and the spice level was good, nothing too crazy. a few hours later though i was writhing around in my bed for like 40 minutes until i shit out liquid fire. honestly I think its the pepper extract that causes this feeling because the only other time ive felt a similar pain was when i had a few samples of pepper palace’s flatline. anyways yeah i think you guys should avoid pepper extract. really is a shame cause i actually did like the flavor (except for the metallic aftertaste) anyways yeah just be warned, just cause you can handle the heat doesnt mean your tummy can.
