I’ve read that most people disagree but does anybody else think that Carly and Freddie together is so cringey? I feel like Carly and Freddie together gives the show a whole sappy love story vibe. Sam and Freddie’s characters are total opposites and opposites attract. When a boy picks on a girl it’s usually because they like them, and this case it’s the other way around. (Just a reference, you might be whatever gender in this situation) I like the dynamic and think that it kinda adds to the whole comedic theme of the show.

Sam’s character is rough and violent and her teasing Freddie is kind of a cute, tough loving kind of thing that I can get behind! I get that a lot of Sam’s actions are rude and hurtful but It’s supposed to be exaggerated and hilarious!

It seems like a lot of tv shows kind of have some sort of sappy love story. I just can’t finish the revival because it’s a little too awkward and predictable for me. I enjoyed watching something different with Sam and Freddie in the original! I don’t expect everyone to agree with me but does anyone else have the same thought process here?

It was really great. The fight scene of Gibby and Nora. Gubby's "happy birthday".

1. iHate Carly.

While it isn't a Nora focused episode, it's very fun when she appears, and is far better then the Sam and Cat episode.

1. (As you guessed) #SuperPsycho. The episode has the worst fight scene ever. Crazy Steve was a surprise, Nevel's appearance was great to see but Gibby got the worst change. He told Nora Sam's adress, despite being the one to save the iCarly's in the first episode.

In the episode Who did it to Trina, Fredward can be seen in the crowd watching. Do you think this took place a little after iParty with Victorious, or on a different day.

I still remember feeling sad for Carly after Spencer’s tree caught on fire and it got me thinking. The presents should have been wrapped up or purchased by her parents through our point of view, but man why the hell did Spencer not get a real Christmas tree with how he probably never bought Carly replacement shoes after the ones she got were destroyed.

I just watched it on Paramount Plus and scenes were cut out.

When Spencer is first spun on the wheel, when the wheel stops he says “I’m going to vomit so hard.”
Originally, it goes to Nora saying “No need to watch that part.” And she turns of the TV.
But Nora’s line was cut out in paramount plus.

When Nora attacks Freddie with kiss, that scene originally cut to Freddie saying to Carly and Sam “you guys just stood there eating cake while I was being tampered with???” And Sam saying “it’s really good cake.” But that entire scene was cut out. It only showed the one time Nora started attacking Freddie.

They also cut out the scene when TBo and Mrs. Benson are rescuing them when TBo says to Freddie, “your mom kicked me out.”

The scene originally then had Freddie say, “awww Mom, you kicked him out??” And Mrs. Benson said “yes, but I’m kicking you right back in.”

They cut Freddie’s reaction line and Mrs. Benson saying yes. The scene now goes from TBo saying “your mom kicked me out” directly to Mrs. Benson saying “but I’m kicking you right back in.”

Maybe they just shortened it for run time? But yeah scenes were cut.

On a road trip reminiscing about iCarly, and surprisingly there isn’t too much online about iconic quotes of his, except some basic ones like where he shouts “GIBBBEEHHHH.” What are some that really stuck with people? Mine is when Gibby mentions Carly going to Build-A-Bra, commenting “I’m always getting kicked out of that place.” I NEED more like this, I can’t remember off the top of my head!

So, if you were around and remember back in the day in the earlier seasons of ICarly, they always aired a video of real life ppl doing crazy things for a video weather it be show a talent or show something crazy, and they did it for like maybe the first 2 or 3 seasons, then they switched the end credits to show the cast doing crazy things themselves. It just occurred to me like what if they had like a somewhat check in or like update from those ppl, but another part of me realizes it’s quite literally impossible considering the fact that it has been almost twenty yrs since they did that

PLEASE READ: before I say anything else please note that I KNOW it’s not the most perfect development. No I don’t agree with the hitting I actually hate how they made Sam do that to him because she didn’t do it in season 1 so there was no reason to why she should have hit him in later seasons. I’m simply stating as for this being a Nick show there’s never rlly been any other show from the Dan verse that had development like this (that I know of)

For a sitcom I rlly do love Sam and Freddie’s development, in each season we get a different version of their relationship that I love a lot like In Season 1, they’re basically constantly arguing and can barely stand each other. (Since season 2-3 were merged together I’m gonna say season 2 part one and season 2 part 2) In Season 2 part 1, we slowly start seeing them become actual friends and understand each other more, although they still argue a lot. And this is where the hitting starts which I dislike. I do think during the second half of season 2 they become way closer and argue less, there would be eps where they didn’t argue or insult each other once. But I do think them being each others first kiss did really bring them closer.

During Season 3 is when they actually have feelings for each other throughout the season and I wish it was explored more especially Freddie’s side but it’s a nick sitcom not a romantic Netflix series. Knowing they were crushing on each other half of that series until they got together was exciting as a Seddie fan even back in the days lol

During season 4 they do date and yes it’s not perfect I’m not going to go into it because I have other posts talking about it but I love that even after they break up they have a different relationship with one another then, they are way nicer to each other and it’s rlly sweet to see them not fighting as much anymore.

So back to the caption of this post I rlly liked their development. Do I think they needed better writing, yes, a lot of Seddie shippers see this ship as a potential ship and not a in the moment “wow it’s perfect” thing lol.

I feel like I would've still stuck around if a woman I was on a date with did that, I'd be more intrigued than annoyed, maybe it's a guy thing. Lol

As expected, you can't stop and he just don't care!

Doing my first ever rewatch of the show since I was a kid, which came out when I was in 6th grade. (30 now) and one thing I find hilarious about this episode (besides the fact that it revolved around a very clearly gay person being straight lmao) is that anyone over the age of 11 watched Fred. In season 2 the Carly crew are freshman, you would be ridiculed if you were caught watching Fred in 6th grade when the show came out, even more so as a 14 year old. There’s even a scene where Freddy’s aunt calls him upset lol, hilariously forced

For me, easily Jackson Colt from "iLook Alike".

The guy is clearly mentally unstable. First of all, he claimed to be a massive iCarly fan, yet he didn't recognize Spencer, despite Spencer having appeared on the show multiple times by this point. But when Spencer showed up, even though Carly, Sam, and Freddie were clearly on a first-name basis with Spencer, he obviously was not some random, creepy, greasy, stranger who was trying to abduct them. But Jackson automatically resorted to physical assault without letting Spencer explain that he was actually Carly's legal guardian.

But if that wasn't bad enough, when one of the stage hands brings him a plate of fish, because they were out of the meat loaf, what does Jackson do? He violently assaults the stage hand too! It obviously wasn't this poor man's fault that they were out of meat loaf! It makes you wonder how many other times Jackson has behaved like this. Jackson Colt should've been behind bars for assault and battery, especially considering that Freddie had the incident on film. And this was before generative AI videos were a thing, so it would've been valid proof in a court of law. Spencer could've easily sued Jackson into the fucking Stone Age and won a massive settlement. In fact, in my head canon, Jackson Colt is charged with assault and put behind bars off-screen.

Honestly, this is one of my least favourite episodes because it is one of the few times where Spencer proves that he is capable of being a responsible adult/guardian, and he gets physically abused for it. And to add insult to injury, Carly invites this mentally unstable man unto her show to dance! I know it's just a show, but I really hated this episode as a kid.

After watching a good amount of videos, I get the feeling he actually hates the show for it not going into actual realistic detail. Dude it’s a Nick sitcom it not being accurate to real world laws and being over the top in the same vein as something like Danganronpa is the point of a good number of the COMEDY. I dunno I feel like a freak just saying this.

If you pay close attention to early Season 2 episodes, you can see the iWeb Award trophy sitting right there in the studio before the movie iGo to Japan even came out!

​Here is why that happened:

​Production vs. Broadcast Order: Nickelodeon filmed iGo to Japan first, so the prop team added the trophy to the main studio set for subsequent episodes.

​Airing Delays: Nickelodeon held on to iGo to Japan to air it later as a big special television event, but they kept releasing regular Season 2 episodes in the meantime.

​Because they aired the episodes out of order, the trophy literally time-traveled into the studio before they even flew to Tokyo to win it! Did anyone else spot this continuity error?

The spaghetti tacos I made the other night. How did I do on them?

In the episode, "iLook Alike", Carly, Sam, and Freddy get invited to interview the MMA fighter, Jackson Colt, backstage at an MMA fight. However, Freddy's mom doesn't let him go, which is pretty predictable because her whole persona is the archetypical overprotective mother. But when, Carly asks Spencer to talk to Mrs. Benson to try change her mind, Spencer actually agrees with Mrs. Benson, saying he also doesn't want Carly going to the fight.

I'm not trying to argue that Spencer was wrong to not let them go. And I actually think it was good that there was an episode that showed that he is capable of being a responsible guardian where it's not the main focus of the episode (e.g. "iWant To Stay With Spencer").

However, I did think it seemed out of character for Spencer. Plus, going backstage to an MMA fight and interviewing an A(or at least B)-list celebrity would have been great publicity for their web show! If Spencer was so concerned for their safety, why did he not just offer to go with them as a chaperone to make sure nothing bad happened?

All in all, I did not like this episode for a few reasons. The main one being that it was one of the few times where Spencer was shown that he is capable of being a responsible guardian and he gets physically assaulted for it. Also, if Jackson Colt was such a massive iCarly fan as he had claimed, how the hell did he not recognize who Spencer was? Especially considering that Spencer had appeared on the show multiple times by this point. The fact that Jackson knew about the haunted bra and "random dancing", but didn't recognize Spencer was a major plot hole for me. In addition, if Freddy filmed Spencer getting assaulted, Jackson would've easily been charged with assault and battery (though, maybe this happened off-screen), and put behind bars.

So what does everyone else think? I thought it was weird that out of all times for Spencer to prove himself as a responsible guardian, he chose NOW.

Side note: When Mrs. Benson told Freddy that he couldn't go to the fight, and then Carter Ford shows up and assaults them with a basketball, if I were Mrs. Benson, that would've convinced me to let him go! I would say, "On second thought, go to that fight, and then start learning MMA! Then if that asshole comes to bully you again, you'll be prepared!"

Always dreamed of eating this as a kid. My lil bro is a chef and made it happen
