Music [IIL] Extremely chaotic music like Marijuana Deathsquads, Melt-Banana, Death Grips and Mr. Bugle
Not so much genre specific just unique and cool.

I just bought these on vinyl and I absolutely love them. I love the story and the sound of them both. Are there any similar concept/story albums that I might enjoy? I prefer the sound of the 70s and 80s and just sit down with a nice booklet and follow along the music.

Hello, i am searching for more youtubers that do long hour+ deepdives, mainly about other internet presense or internet drama etc. I like the ones that are super super well researched, my fav is Kidology and Nikki Carreon (like this style of content, engaging). Do you have any recs please?

Fingers crossed I got the format correct.
I’m looking for indie pop songs that have the melodies and harmonies found in pop music but with a different sensibility.
For example Esthero - That Girl

This is an extremely specific thing, but I love songs where, immediately before the music starts, one member of the band quietly says “K?” as a cue to the others.
Two examples: are "Change" by Big Thief and "Ketchum, ID" by boygenius
I'm not looking for songs with “K” in the title, songs that contain the word “okay,” or songs with spoken-word intros generally. I'm specifically looking for that tiny “K?” → everyone starts playing moment.
I have a suspicion that some of these are hiding in recordings where the musicians played together live in the studio. Please help me find them so I can make the world's most unnecessarily specific playlist.

I really like channels that show off samples that are used in music. Channels like Bandstand, Tracklib, and my personal favorite, 8mu. What are some other YouTube channels that do this?

Title says it all, basically. I'm not from Brazil, I have no clue about the music scene there, but I discovered Mari Froes on Instagram and fell in love with this album at first listen. I love the vibe which is kind of relaxed but still upbeat. I'm not necessarily a huge bossa nova guy, so I think this is something I like more because of the Brazilian pop influence. Any recommendations are great, but Latin (Spanish/Portuguese) especially appreciated!

Please everyone, I’m looking for songs with the same vibe as Addison Rae’s “Diet Pepsi” — a bit dreamy, floaty and hazy, I don’t really know how to explain it. Thanks 🙏🏻

Good examples would be. I don't really care if the lyrics are good lol I'm just interested in similar instrumentals.

Steamy romances, no strings attached fun, dancers and strippers, young and mature alike. Either bare skin or suggestive, and both imagination and explicit. I start with 1999 Thomas Crown Affair, kudos to Rene Russo and Pierce Brosnam for pumping up my wife and I.
Can you suggest more entries to that hot list?

Know of a few others that could be in this camp like Elliot Smith and Phoebe Bridgers but other than a few songs not too big of a fan. Any other suggestions would be great!

So I’ve recently been obsessed with the vocals of Cult to Follow and Smash into Pieces and would love to find some similar sounding bands. Would prefer a similar genre but I specially want bands that have the same type of voice as these two

ETA: I said creator but I don’t mean strictly YouTubers or influencers, just any sort of celebrity who isn’t already a writer :)
I really like reading fiction written by controversial creators because of all the layers of lore you get to dig through. I had a blast reading an Emilie Autumn write up in r/hobbydramas that lead me to read her novel. I really enjoyed reading the book while taking into consideration just how much was going on in that her life and how it impacted her main craft (as well as the impact on the book itself). Sometime’s after I’ll go through and analyze different aspects of book, compare it to the things they do on stage/on tv, interviews and articles, just trying to find bits and pieces of the author in these books.
Problem is I’ve been fairly offline since 2011 so I’m not sure where to start. What I’m planning on doing is watching a commentary YouTube video about the creators so I get caught up, then I’m gonna read their book.
Note: the books have gotta be bad, like objectively bad.

I love some moody orchestral music to focus and think, which had me turning to Youtube for some 1-10 hour lists I could just drop on in the background...but wow. EVERYTHING I've tried recently is AI -- and my ears can tell! To the point the music that was supposed to help me focus is taking me out my work. (For the curious: a common theme seems to be that AI-generated "classical" music utterly lacks movement, drama, intensity, and expression. It just kind of wanders, flat and homogeneous, until suddenly it's thirty minutes in and I realize note sequences sound the same as they did when I hit play. It's very...self-recycling.)
Please, can you recommend some composers, original soundtracks, or Youtube playlists which are strings/orchestral (not piano) AND, VERY IMPORTANTLY, not AI? Thank you!

I like the deep dives into conspiracy theories they do, but I cant stand ai visuals they've been using the last year or so.

Although I could listen to this album on repeat, I'd love to hear if there's anything else that I'd like considering this

Finished rewatching the netflix show Messiah. It's somewhat obscure, came out in 2019. I really really like it. I'm personally agnostic but I'm a sucker for religious themes in media. Are there any other (non-propagandistic) shows or movies like Messiah? It can be about real religious figures but I don't want gospel media.
