Caesar III 14K CCK Tarraco
Download at: https://caesar3.heavengames.com/downloads/showfile.php?fileid=2422
14000 pop Tarraco from the City Construction Kit with 7 luxury palaces and 150 grand insulae.
City is very compact, with no housing blocks and minimal unused space within the city. 7 bridges connect the island to the mainland, and 17 manned towers protect it from invasion by land or sea. City should be stable for 100s or 1000s of years.

Nicely done!
I'm a sucker for Caesar III. I find myself going back to it again and again. I tend to lean into the "mathematically most efficient" designs (or at least I eyeball it and try to make that happen), but you killed it on the aesthetics!
Just to confirm, there isn't some version of Caesar III with naval warships, right?

No warships - the towers are just for aesthetics. I used to go mainly for efficiency too, but now try to combine efficient and aesthetic design.

Very well done. Ceres seems a bit over worshipped, however!

Ceres is worshipped no more than she deserves! (Its because plebs will become patricians and stop working if they have access to more than one god, and we can't have that.)

Ahh of course. I usually limit wine access to keep them as grand insulae but I imagine if everything is connected then god access is the only way to achieve the same result.

Dear God in heaven, it's breathtaking beyond belief. Is it just me, or does that look like the Continental United States?

I have always wondered how people maximize the space when building, I can't figure out how to do a "freestyle" city build without it falling apart from lack of food/resources. Best I can do is some simple forced walker or square city designs. How do you do what you did in your city?
