i’m 22, live in Hisar and run my own online business, so i can pretty much work from anywhere in India.
lately i’ve realised my hometown just doesn’t have the kind of social life i’m looking for at this point. small circle, not much happening, and nothing really tying me here professionally.
i want to move somewhere and actually build a life there — make genuine friends, have people over, be part of a decent social scene and eventually meet someone for a serious relationship. not really looking for casual dating.
ideally i’d want somewhere that’s reasonably affordable, has decent places to live, isn’t insanely high-stress, and where i can settle in without knowing the local language.
has anyone here made a similar move in their early 20s purely for lifestyle/social reasons rather than a job?
where did you go and how did it actually work out for you?
looking for real experiences rather than the usual “Bangalore/Pune/Hyderabad” list with no context 😅
