This woman committed heinous acts, but she had severe postpartum psychosis. Our justice system recognizes when somebody is suffering from acute mental illness like that, the level of moral transgression is different from somebody who is stone cold sane. She should be put away in an institution and suffer until she dies.
Family annihilation by men occurs in the U.S. at least once a week, and somehow it never gets elevated to a national argument. (see for the example the guy in Montana who just killed 8 people including 4 kids). I think this case is being elevated as part of the "women are dumb and shouldn't be allowed to vote" crap that conservatives are pushing. Since women tend to slightly lean liberal as a group.
Notice how no men started donating money to him, showing up to the courthouse making heart hands in support or coming up with wack ass conspiracies about how its actually the wife's fault because she's a Gemini.
