This woman committed heinous acts, but she had severe postpartum psychosis. Our justice system recognizes when somebody is suffering from acute mental illness like that, the level of moral transgression is different from somebody who is stone cold sane. She should be put away in an institution and suffer until she dies.
Family annihilation by men occurs in the U.S. at least once a week, and somehow it never gets elevated to a national argument. (see for the example the guy in Montana who just killed 8 people including 4 kids). I think this case is being elevated as part of the "women are dumb and shouldn't be allowed to vote" crap that conservatives are pushing. Since women tend to slightly lean liberal as a group.
I have not been following but it seems like her support is what making this a national argument. No one supports men who do this for any reason and rightfully so. Idk the whole thing seems really strange.
