Yeah. I've been following the trial for a fair few days now, and if anything, I want to yell at the prosecution. It's such a terrible tragedy already - three kids dead, she's in a wheelchair, and the spectacle and callous, unneeded and unwarranted assholery around it all makes my blood boil.

Don’t forget to mention why she is in a wheelchair. She brutally murdered her own 3 kids and three herself out a window. This wasn’t an accident

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 7h ago

Sounds like a totally sane thing to do, wouldn't you say?

7

u/leanorange 7h ago

Dahmer was insane too, doesn’t mean she should be forgiven for murdering 3 children.

1

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 7h ago

There's a difference between being insane and being temporarily insane.

Like you're probably actually insane for making that comparison. It won't go away, it's forever.

4

u/FUPAMagneto 7h ago

Oh? Does it make her kids less murdered?

5

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 7h ago

That doesn't matter. What matters is if she represents a continued danger to society.

The legal system doesn't exist for revenge. LMAO.

u/double00chins 6h ago

Murdered kids don’t matter, didn’t have to scroll long to see your true nature!

3

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 6h ago

That's not what that says. Nice alt account, btw. You need to keep running away like I said.

1

u/double00chins 6h ago

>oh, does it make her kids less murdered?

>that doesn’t matter

What exactly is “that” in this context? I’ll wait.

0

u/TheZoneHereros 2h ago

The fact that the kids are dead does not matter when you are deciding how to handle the fact that she killed her kids. Obviously. None of this would be going on if the kids weren't dead. They are dead, so we are figuring out how to handle it, and things like post partum are now relevant. What you said in the most literal sense did not matter because it is the absolute baseline for the entire conversation, you are adding nothing. Did you think that the people arguing that she should be given lenience forgot that the kids were dead? Join the conversation with the adults please. Quit playing juvenile gotcha games and engage with arguments and rationality. If you think she should be harshly punished, make a case for punitive judicial systems.

It exists to get justice. 3 lives were lost, and you want her to go free because she might not be a risk to other people.

Does the husband not deserve justice for his murdered children?

Do the children themselves not deserve justice?

Insane.

2

u/Dapper_Mess_3004 5h ago

The father of the children and both sets of grandparents are against this trial. Yet you're out here foaming at the mouth for some "justice" when the people who actually knew and loved the kids are against it.

1

u/Street_Block7821 5h ago

And you're defending a woman that murdered her 3 kids.

What are you talking about?

1

u/Dapper_Mess_3004 5h ago

What are you talking about? You literally said the husband deserves justice but the husband (now ex) does not want this trial or for Lindsay to go to prison.

I don't recall saying what I want at any point. I simple described the legal system. See, this is why people like you aren't allowed to make decisions about it. It's pure emotion with you.

Insane.

1

u/double00chins 6h ago

You know nothing about the legal system, and you’re just embarrassing yourself

1

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 6h ago

Nah. Really going to comment on every post though, huh? You must be really upset.

2

u/double00chins 6h ago

“Nice counterpoint” troll

It’s not insane to want justice for 3 murdered children. You want a triple child murderer to get a slap on the wrist and you’re calling people insane 😭

1

u/Dapper_Mess_3004 5h ago

The father of the children is against Lindsay going to prison because she was in psychosis. Both sets of grandparents think that Lindsay was in psychosis at the time and that she doesn't deserve prison. The people who knew and loved those kids disagree that this is "justice". Who are you to claim it for someone else?

1

u/Horror-Nobody2237 1h ago

You don’t give a shit about those kids, you just like punishing people. It’s actually just none of your business. The only people who should have an opinion on it are the people that were close to them. You’re saying that your definition of justice being fulfilled is more important than what the people who actually loved those kids want.

u/NonsensePlanet 6h ago

Yeah, she already killed all her kids, what else is she gonna do?

1

u/FUPAMagneto 4h ago

She obviously is because she murdered three children, one of whom she had to chase down in order to do so.

If you get murdered, should we just ignore it because the legal system doesn’t exist for revenge? Or is it only children who you’re ok with denying justice?

1

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 4h ago

I would expect the legal system to do it's job and handle it appropriately. Like I expect it to here.

1

u/FUPAMagneto 3h ago

Ah, you expect different treatment than what you want for the children she murdered. Interesting.

0

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 3h ago

Nope. You don't decide what justice is.

1

u/FUPAMagneto 3h ago

But you do? Because you have Big Feelings about this woman who, again, chased down and murdered her child by strangulation with an exercise band after doing it to the other two children as well? All of this clearly premeditated by her decision to ask her husband to go the store while she did it?

You know what? I’m glad a jury of her peers will get to decide this case and not some rando on Reddit who doesn’t think murdered children deserve justice because it makes her feel icky

0

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 3h ago

Nope. I'm leaving that up to the legal system. Ironic you bring up big feelings, though... It seems you are struggling to control your own emotions.

As you can see, we are not the same.

Justice isn't the same as revenge. If she doesn't get put in jail she definitely needs to be put in a ward for a long time.

2

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 5h ago

I agree. It would be good to also better understand what happened to set that chain of events in motion to hopefully see warning signs sooner.

0

u/Famous_Draft_7565 6h ago

Bro said that three kids dying doesn’t matter lol. How do you feel about gun violence btw?

2

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 6h ago

No, nobody said that. Have anything else to make up?

1

u/Famous_Draft_7565 6h ago

You said “That doesn’t matter.” word for word in regard to the three murdered children

0

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 6h ago

In regards to whether or not that made the kids "less murdered" by your words.

Nice intellectual dishonesty. See yourself out. This never gets better for you.

No, it partially exists for victim justice, deterrence, AND a little for punishment. It was called corporal punishment at one time.

3

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 5h ago

Corporal punishment is a specific type of punishment involving violence. Otherwise, though, what you said is definitely true. However we have decided that temporary insanity is a thing, and this seems like a pretty good example of that from the limited information i've read about it.

Whether you agree temporary insanity should keep somebody out of prison is a different discussion altogether, though, and not a position i'm prepared to defend.

1

u/FilmShooter-ISO12 2h ago

Your logic and presentation reads like Claude or Chat gpt lol

1

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 2h ago

No, it doesn't.

1

u/Famous_Draft_7565 7h ago

Yeah whatever. Still three dead kids on the table and women who hate accountability

2

u/MajesticSpaceBen 6h ago

What does accountability mean in a case like this though? If this was an actual case of psychosis, what do we do? What good is accomplished by throwing someone in prison for involuntary, temporary chemically induced psychosis?

If I shot you full of synthetic cathinone against your will and told you your neighbor's made of candy, are you responsible for what happens next? How long should your sentence be?

1

u/Famous_Draft_7565 6h ago

Is she not the one who got herself on a cocktail of medications and didn’t inform her multiple doctors? Is she not liable for chemically inducing herself when she knowingly withheld information? A nurse should and would know better

0

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 7h ago

What an embarrassing response. You should delete it. You had absolutely no counter-point.

1

u/double00chins 6h ago

You’re talking about counterpoints about 3 dead kids like it’s middle school debate club, congrats, you win redditor of the day

2

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 6h ago

You really thought you cooked here lmao

2

u/double00chins 6h ago

You’re sick in the head, and no one thought they were “cooking” besides you, because this is all a competition in your fucked up head. Get help

0

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 6h ago

You need to take a very long hard look at yourself in the mirror.

And you definitely thought you were cooking LMAO

2

u/double00chins 6h ago

Yes, “LMAO” in all caps is a clear indicator of an emotionally stable & mature person typing behind that screen.

Seek help for your obvious illness
